A group of 8 women having a Girls trip. This place was beautiful, clean and we had no issues. We didn't use the hot tub but the pool was so wonderful when not exploring the town or on a wine tour. I would highly recommend!!!

Sandie, eight of you on a girls trip and the pool getting used between wine tours sounds about right for that house. Glad it was spotless when you walked in, that is the standard we hold ourselves to. Next time you come, give the hot tub a shot after a long day of tastings, it is the best seat on the property once the sun drops behind the hills and the whole group can fit. Sliding glass door was difficult to open and close, pool was not very clean, a bit of a sewer gas smell in middle bedroom, yard has grassburrs, outside trash cans were not empty on arrival and were still not emptied before departure.Tv was nice, kitchen was good, neighborhood was quiet, beds were comfortable. Need more closet space to hang clothes.

The home was absolutely perfect for a larger family. We have adult children so having the outside guest room was very convenient too. The location is close to everything and if you don’t want to drive, you can get an uber quite reasonably. The beds were cozy and we had everything we needed.

We had a little trouble with the code for the detached bedroom at first, but it was resolved super quickly and the communication was excellent and extremely fast. The kitchen was brand new and immaculate. Very nicely done. The place was fantastic. and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. In short, our stay was fantastic, start to finish.

Can’t wait to stay again! We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house was clean and well appointed. Everything you could need for a family get together. The owners though of everything for the outdoors from the pool, hot tub to fire pit. The pool was sparkling clean and a highlight of our trip.

The pool and hot tub made this stay very special. Everything was fresh and updated. We stayed during Octoberfest, which can be loud near downtown. This place is located far enough away from downtown to be quiet in the evenings.

Great central location and beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay in this huge beautiful home. It felt remote while being close to everything in and around Fredericksburg. The hosts were very communicative. Would absolutely stay here again.

Shannon, that balance you described, feeling tucked away from the world while still being a short drive into Fredericksburg, is exactly what we set out to build at this property, and it means a lot to hear it landed that way for you. The house has so much space to spread out and just breathe, which makes the Hill Country feel even bigger around you. Next time you come back, plan a morning on the back porch with a cup of coffee watching the land wake up. It does not disappoint!

I was very disappointed in this property. The property was not fully prepared for guests to stay. There were several glaring issues that should have been addressed prior to making this property available for rental. First and most concerning was the fact that the door to the detached bedroom did not lock! Second, the deck to the detached bedroom was in poor condition. Thirdly, there was a wasp nest above the patio door to the deck. Also, the light bulb was out directly above the door to that bedroom. In the main house, there were a lot of knats in the master bathroom. The swimming pool doesn’t have heating (this is fyi for some, as we still enjoyed the pool). The hot tub was also nice. The property needs to be fully prepped and QA checked prior to guests arriving. My experience at best was a 6/10.

Craig, a bedroom door that won't lock isn't something you should have found on arrival, and neither is a wasp nest over the patio door, a dark bulb, a worn deck, or gnats in the master bath. We missed on this house. The lock and bulb are replaced, the nest is gone with the eaves now on a treatment schedule, deck boards are being repaired, and the bathroom drains have been treated. Our arrival check here now covers locks and exterior lights on every door, not just the main entry. Glad the pool and hot tub still gave you something good. Come back once the deck work is done and enjoy that side of the house in the evening. Our returning guests always get 10% off, so that is yours the next time you book with us. Julie, that backyard is one of our favorite things about the property too, and it sounds like you made good use of it. Plenty of room to spread out and not feel like you are on top of your neighbors, which is harder to find than people expect in the Hill Country. If you come back in the spring, the wildflowers along the back fence are worth the trip on their own.

Shauna, knowing everyone in your group had a great time is exactly what we love to hear. A clean house is something we work hard to maintain, and it means a lot that it showed. The Hill Country has a way of pulling people back, and when you are ready to return, the swimming hole and the trails right around the property are worth building your next stay around!

LOVED THIS HOUSE AND THE LOCATION

The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Everyone said they slept well in the comfy beds and plenty of room for us. We took our dogs and the fact that the property is fenced in was AWESOME!! We would highly recommend this lovely home and we will be back.

Perfect for our Bachelorette

Fredericksburg Thanksgiving Getaway

We had an incredible week at this beautifully remodeled 1940s house! The charm of the original architecture combined with modern updates made our stay truly special. The location couldn't be better—just minutes from the fun of Fredericksburg's Main Street, we enjoyed exploring the shops and dining options. The outdoor space was fantastic, perfect for our kids and fur kids to run around and play. It was the ideal setting for our Thanksgiving celebration, creating memories that we'll cherish forever. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to return!

21st birthday & family gathering

My daughter wanted a small party with the family and a few friends for her 21st birthday. Her only requirement for her birthday party was a fire pit. Not only was this home beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, it had the most amazing fire pit! We sat for hours connecting as a family around the fire last night. Thank you so much!! It was a great way to celebrate life.

Overall great property and close to town. Very convenient. Entire property enclosed with fence so it was excellent for my two dogs. Cozi response is quick and professional. A couple of opportunities was the floors needed to be mopped, a Keurig would have been nice, needed a broom/dustpan, front door and guest casita door a little hard to open. Other than those minor details the property was great and we would return. Thank you Cozi for your hospitality.

The photos of this property are VERY misleading and disappointing as this home COULD be great if it were maintained. The hvac cover had inches of dust and a black filter that clearly hadn’t been replaced maybe ever. The pool was filthy and disgusting. We lost a pool day here due to this. When the pool guy did come out, he stated there was no chlorine in the water and he couldn’t believe they turned the home over to us like this. There was NO net for us to get bigs etc out. We had to purchase one. The pool vacuum never worked. Next, the sliding back door was almost impossible to close and we are a fit family, but you had to literally use all of your body power to close the door. Next, the bedroom with the two queen beds where our girls stayed had a plexiglass window that popped out each night. We tried to hold it closed as it was glued to the window frame with a brick, but when the air would kick on, it would push the window out.This left our young girls covered in mosquito bites. The fire pit wasn’t even usable with so many weeds. The yard was not maintained in the slightest. The hot tub was too gross to use. The pool light didn’t work. There is no light outside once it’s dark. The umbrella outside was broken. The “garage” forCars was not usable unless you moved everything that was rusted and broken. Other minor things but I would not recommend. The property manager was a ghost and never responded.
