Hi Frances, Thank you for choosing Sunshine Cottage! As you may know, the grass tends to grow very quickly in spring due to the warm and wet weather. Our gardener is doing his best to keep it well maintained, and we really appreciate your understanding.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review. We truly appreciate your feedback. We’re glad to hear about your overall experience, and we also understand your comments regarding the mattress. Comfort can be quite personal, and everyone has their own preference when it comes to mattress firmness. So far, most of our guests have been happy with these mattresses, but we do recognise that preferences can vary. Your input is valuable to us, and we will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to improve the stay for future guests.

Thank you, Jacinta, for letting us know about the hot water issue following the storm and temporary power outage after your departure. The hot water system has a panel controller, and simply switching it back on should restore the hot water supply. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused. If you had contacted us at the time, we would have been more than happy to assist you straight away.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location and had a great time hiking in the Blue Mountain. It was a pleasure to host you, and we hope to welcome you back soon for another fantastic stay!

Thanks for your nice words Suzanne. We look forward to welcoming you back for another stay in the Blue Mountains.
