Nice family trip

Enjoyed a relaxing time with family. We went to the hot springs and to a coal mine. It was nice to have a base that was about a 3 hour drive. Host was very prompt on any questions we asked!

Fun getaway

The house was very interesting, my 3 grandchildren loved it. The only problem we had with it was the showers. The water pressure was terrible and the drains were very slow.

Lots of fun, needs a deep clean

We had a blast at this home with all of the fun it offered. We especially loved the paddle boats and kayaks, and the sunsets and peaceful views were hard to beat. There is also lots of room to spread out. The hosts are also very kind, caring, and quick to respond, however, this home badly needs a professional deep clean to be taken to the next level. Surfaces, including walls needs some real cleaning. We said it reminded us of camper camping a bit. I know this is a newer listing, and if they fix some of the basic amenities (cups, dishes, pans, hand towels etc...we bought and left a few of these items ourselves) and get a deep clean and refresh, this will be a win all the way around. Just fair to let you know if you have high standards for cleanliness, it might not be for you at least at the time of this review.

This property needs work

The weekend was 96 degrees and the AC unit was leaking like a faucet all over the couch. There was a dead mouse in the pantry. Floors made my baby's knees brown w dirt. A mouse ran on our bed while we were sleeping. There are cob webs in the kitchen that act as a fly trap. Holes in many of the walls. We love the group we had, but would never come back or recommend, too dirty 😔 Oh and the propane was out after i specifically asked the evolve group who are also quite rude. Very nice family, very rude property group.

We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues. We will look at the issues regarding the A/C, walls, and cleanliness so they do not affect any future guests. Just Don't Stay Here

We were very excited about this place, but it failed in many ways. At checkin the hostess had her phone off so when we got to the property we didn't know what to do. We discovered the place was just unlocked with the key on the table so we let ourselves in. We were also told to leave the key on the table when we left. The place was dirty, not child friendly, and hot with no central air. There is no trampoline, the lake is a cow pond (with cows defecating in it), the row boat looked like it would sink, the kayaks are for kids max wt 125. The water slide can only be accessed by a vertical ladder to the roof (so don't plan on kids using it) To get to the property you have to drive past the hosts place and all the junk in their yard. Host was friendly until we had a complaint and then was rude. Evolve is not very responsive and doesn't seem to do anything. We ended up leaving early. This place just doesn't get represented well by the pics on site. Congratulations you got my money.

This is a rural country property located on a dirt road and situated on a working farm and hunting property, which contributes to the setting and surroundings guests can expect. The property includes three child-size kayaks and one adult kayak, and access to the water slide is by a vertical ladder. We appreciate your feedback regarding the amenities and presentation of the property and will continue reviewing how these details are communicated so future guests can determine whether the home is the right fit for their stay.

Did not stay

After walking into the property, looking over everything, my brother and I took some photos and determined it was in our best interest to not stay at this home. We did not stay in the home one night. We would appreciate the VRBO fee returned.

Wonderful Stay, Fantastic Location, Great hosts!

Evolve was great to work with - the booking process was easy and the help I received over the phone was great! I had a few questions prior to my trip and they were answered super quickly. When we arrived, the Local Host treated us with the most amazing delicious fresh eggs! (and we met the chickens later!) I think my son went down the slide at least 100 times, and the movie room was perfect for games as well as movies. It was the perfect escape for our three-generation family trip before the kids went back to school. My parents were able to relax and enjoy things without feeling like they had to do too much as the house was easy to get around and comfy. I got to watch my kids NOT ARGUE about anything the entire time we were there because there was so much to do. Thank you for sharing this home with us!
