New: House & Cabin steps from the beach, with space and privacy for two families

Welcome to our slice of paradise.

First time on book a bach since 2020, we wanted to share our haven with like-minded fishing fanatics and families who want to enjoy the space and convenience of having the beach and harbor just a few steps away.

With Bland Bay beach on one side and the harbor on the other accessible via a private residential road, this two-level bach has been set up for 2 families with children to enjoy and make magical memories.

Plenty of front and back lawn for parking or a game of rugby or soccer with the kids, you will find our beach house positioned on a private section on a quiet side road.

We are completely separate and not attached to any other property offering privacy with plenty of areas to lounge and enjoy the sun, listen to the waves, take in the sea air and enjoy some family time playing games.

There is a new and modern kitchen where you will find all the extras - coffee machine, milk frothier, dishwasher, air fryer, deep fryer, microwave, slow cooker, blender, churros maker, sandwich press, kettle, toaster and many other gadgets and gismos.

Large double-door fridge freezer and plenty of storage space for all of your goodies :) Lots of bench space, double sink with sprayer tap, induction hob and oven.

The kitchen is large and open plan with a bifold window opening across to bring the outside in where you can enjoy outside-inside flow which leads onto two large outside decks that wrap around the top level of the house - here you will find two outdoor seating areas overlooking the harbor one side and the beach the other, a bbq and an outdoor lounge.

Upstairs inside you will find two lounge areas, a 10 seater dining table and a breakfast bar which seats an additional 3 people. There is a day bed and a hanging egg chair in the lounge area and a tv with android capability for those rain days.

Unlimited internet is available.

Two bedrooms upstairs, including a triple bunk bed in one room and a queen bed in the other.

This is a 1960s bach so you will see some of the quirks and additions.

Downstairs you will find the third bedroom with single children's bunks and a double bed.

There is a separate cabin that has a queen bed and bunk bed also available with a wraparound deck and direct views to the harbor.

In the main house there is a library downstairs which includes a variety of books, coloring in and board games for you to enjoy. Sand-bag game, bowls, some balls and crafts too.

There are two toilets downstairs.
A bathroom with a bath and shower. Toilet and laundry with a front loader washing machine: Plenty of storage for clothes and your belongings.

The garage area has been converted into a games room with a pool table, bar and plenty of extra fridge space. Dartboard and other games can be found here aswell as kayaks and beach toys - available for you to enjoy. (2 child kayaks and 3 adult) life vests and other beach toys available.

Here the kids will find slushy machines, popcorn machine, ice maker, coffee machine and drinks dispenser. There are plenty of glasses and jugs here too.

There is also an abundance of storage space to store your surf boards, dive gear, beach toys etc.

Loungers and bean bags available in the games room. Hammocks and hanging chairs downstairs in the outdoor area - some awesome spaces to chill after a day in the sun.

Plenty of space on the lawn to park the boat.

Travel cot and a travel highchair are also available for use, aswell as a change table mat, beach trolley and other items for those with young ones.

Fantastic fishing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, windsurfing and kitesurfing in the bay and many beautiful walking tracks.
It is not unusual to see Dolphins frolicking in the bay, very close to the shore line.
Elliot Bay is a great surf beach 10 minutes away. Russell is a short 45 minute drive.

The boat ramp is 2 minute drive. The bland bay motor camp is opposite the property where they have a camp shop for essentials. From Whangarei town center it is a 1 hour 15 drive, from Russell it is a 45 min drive if you need to stock up on a bigger shop.

There is a dive center 10 min drive from the property where you can fill up the dive bottles. Stock up on your burley and bait before you come.
If you're after something abit more adventurous, The Farm offers a number of activities including horse riding and biking.

Whangaruru also offers activities such as box fit and our local physiotherapist is available for home visits for a Swedish massage too if you feel like a pamper.

The closest fuel station is in Oakura - 25 min drive. There is also a four square where you can pick up the essentials. Fish and chip shop and newsagents.

Russell and the surrounding areas (45 min drive) are renowned for wine tasting and other activities including water sports - parasailing, jet skiing, fishing trips or cross the ferry to Paihia for more Bay of Islands activities.

Additional persons may be added upon prior arrangement and charged at $50pp/pn
Strictly no indoor pets and outdoor pets prohibited unless agreed prior.
Strictly no parties (no stags, hens or other large parties) Only persons who have booked to enter the property.
