The property management company which manages the property had a miscommunication about our stay but the owner was super responsive and resolved everything quickly and easily. We had family in town for a wedding and this home was a perfect place to have everyone close by. Lots of space and layout. Be aware that the oven was a little tricky as we were not used to it. We would need to reset the temperature if you open the oven to check on the food. It was a nice oven and the kitchen was well stocked but we did have to figure out that part. Owner was very responsive and nice. Really appreciated everything.

The home has a lot of charm and potential, and we appreciated being able to stay in such a peaceful setting. However, we did run into a few challenges during our visit. The front door code didn’t work for us, though we were able to get in through the garage without issue.Once inside, we noticed quite a few flies throughout the home, which made things a bit uncomfortable—especially in the evenings. A smoke alarm outside also went off a few times, and we later found that a small hole near the sink might have been attracting flies, possibly due to the nearby animals.Overall, we enjoyed the setting and can see how lovely the home could be with a few adjustments. We’d appreciate consideration for a partial refund given the inconveniences experienced during our stay.

Great host, property still being renovated
Overall, the host's great communication saves this from a lower ranking. The thing is, this property is not bad and the owner appears to be making an effort to improve it to reach its potential, but it is obvious work is still ongoing and needed. Location is fantastic. The drive from here to Willow Springs was short and easy, so if you were going to be in town to go to the track, this Location is great. Also a quick hop down to Lancaster for restaurants. Spacious. Never felt cramped with 4 people. Plenty of parking. Plenty of room to park guests cars. Our first night there we also needed to park our trailer and we still had plenty of room.Host communication: Fantastic communication. Anytime we had to reach out to the host, they were fast and attentive and friendly. The hand written welcome note was a nice touch. Clean: This both a pro and a con. The important things like the kitchen, fridge, toilets, and beds were clean. Overall the place was free of stains, trash, and anything "ick."However, the beds smelled of being bathed in Fabreeeze or overly scented laundry soap. It made it somewhat difficult to fall asleep.Condition: Master shower was unusable due to incomplete renovation. Guest bath/shower was missing patches of coating and needed renovation. Front door locked never worked, some lights were inoperative, some lamps not plugged in (cord just tucked behind furniture).Overall, not bad, but a few elements keep it from greatness.
