Enjoy your stay, walking or riding through the woods to the bluff overlooking the river valley.
This property is a short drive from the Twin Cities.
5 miles east of Hinkley, 3 miles from Grand Hinckley Casino and famous favorite Tobies Restaurant.

The property was cozy and beautiful! A million stars in the sky. We had a slight issue with check in, but the host was very responsive and accommodating and resolved our issues. The beds were cozy and we had a very nice stay.

Everything was great. It is so comfortable and homey, I wish I could have stayed. Very clean, and I will definitely be going again, when the snow melts in spring.

We visited in October and had a wonderful experience. The cabin looked exactly as shown in the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and our dogs absolutely loved exploring the trails. This was our second stay, and we would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay! Very relaxing property to enjoy whether that be hiking, grilling, or just cozying in and watching movies or playing games. The cabin was beautifully decorated and kitchen stocked with all the utensils and dishware you'd need. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and each bedroom has a closet. Overall, it was a great vacation!

Perfect location for our annual sibling trip. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the bedrooms were lovely, the location was great - nice and quiet country cabin. We really enjoyed the fire pit!

This place is absolutely amazing and one of the best values on VRBO in my opinion. Peaceful property with plenty of stuff nearby to do for fun/food. highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean comfortable place to hideaway! : )

Perfect distance to travel for a weekend away from the Cities. Well kept and well appointed cabin with a great kitchen and big dining table accommodating meals and puzzles. Great shower. I appreciated the owners trust that guests are mature adults. A few things things-air fryer, grill and tub drain weren’t clean, but that’s on the cleaning service. Took two fun day trips to Sandstone and Moose Lake, and watched a pair of Trumpeter Swans fly overhead. All in all, peaceful, easy and very reasonably priced for 4 folks.

This cabin was the perfect combination of rustic and modern, remote but close to everything you need. Check-in/out was a breeze. The rooms were all comfortable and very quiet - I slept well here. The host thought of just about everything - movies, board games, books, spices, cookware... you name it. Our favorite time was sitting on the porch in the evening listening to the birds - we didn't see any deer in the yard during our short stay, but we say plenty just up the road on our way in, along with a pair of bald eagles that flew right in front of our car and landed in a tree next to the road. Next time we're up this way, we'll definitely be up for booking again.

Cozy Cabin

We take a trip for Christmas instead of doing gifts, and this year we decided to book in Minnesota hoping for a good snow. The cabin was beaufitul and stayed warm! We didnt have snow like we had hoped for, but there are tons of attractions close by!!! Some pictures show the river with chairs and i will say that its a very short walk! Keep left at the fork on the trail and you will see it, but the river is extremely low! We enjoyed our stay and found that prior travelers left notes in a book. We left our story as well. Along with items left for others to enjoy, as they did for us. The only small issue we came across was the water pressure for the washing machine. The owner quickly responded to my message with a call and we talked about how the hot water worked better than cold. It is well water and we were understanding. No biggie!! We got all our clothes washed. I would highly recommend staying here!! Its well insulated and i loved the dimmable lights. Wifi worked great and i had access to every kitchen item i needed when i cooked throughout the week. There was one burner that didnt get hot (the large one) but it didnt stop me from cooking! I really liked the decorations chosen throughout the cabin. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment here and will definitely return in the future!trail

Great hideaway!

Thoroughly enjoyed being tucked away in the woods! I had hoped to cross country ski on nearby trails while my teenagers slept, but the weather didn’t cooperate. We still all enjoyed our stay!

Family getaway
