Welcome to our pet friendly suite close to the mountains and nature

Welcome to our pet friendly apartment where you will have everything you need and more for your time away from home. Enjoy walking trails outside your door, perfect for that morning or evening walk. We are only a 5-10 minute drive from grocery shopping, restaurants, historic downtown, spas, Cochrane Farmers Market, Spray Lakes community centre, and more. Beautiful Glenbow Ranch Park, Ghost Lake and Bearspaw Farmers Market are only 15 minutes away. We are 20 minutes to Calaway Park, 20 minutes to Calgary or less than an hour from Banff. There is also a cold wine and beer store 5 minutes away on foot.

Our self-contained guest suite with a private entrance has a quiet bedroom with comfortable Queen bed, 4 piece bathroom, workout room, open concept living space with kitchenette and pool/ping pong table. Guests may enjoy our backyard Jacuzzi from spring to fall (May-October- weather dependent) and a small BBQ.

We live upstairs and are social but non-intrusive, guests will not want for anything as we can provide necessities at a moment's notice.

The Haven Day Spa in town services our BNB. If you want to book spa services let us know in advance.

*Note: We live in a quiet residential community and enforce quiet hours after 11pm. Hot tub use after this time is not allowed so as not to disturb our neighbours.

Just wow!

Really the best place we could ask for our first nights in the mountains. The hot tub is a big bonus here :)

Great stay in Cochrane

Great little VRBO nestled in a neighbourhood in Cochrane. Kristine and Doug were very welcoming and happy to make sure everything was perfect with the place. Basement suite was quiet, easy to access, and has a ton of amenities, including an outdoor hot tub! I’ll be coming back the next time I have to stay in the area. Thanks again!

Our Cochrane Stay

Property is as shown. Everything for a comfortable stay is there. We spent 5 days , using it as our home base for Banff, Lake Louise & other tourist attractions. Great location. Kristine responded immediately to inquiries. Enjoyed meeting Kristine, Doug and Sailor. Would book again if need ever arises.

Mini retreat

We signed up for a virtual retreat and decided to make it special by travelling to Cochrane. Everything went off without a hitch. The only drawback was the walkway to the entrance. A bit wobbly and not well lit enough. Hosts were friendly and we only saw them when they came to welcome us.

Great Stay in Cochrane, AB

Everything about this BNB was perfect for my husband and 2 year old lab. We stayed 2 nights and check-in was seamless. Kristine and Doug were there when we arrived. If they had not been, there was keyless entry with a code provided before we arrived. They provided a guest book with all the tips you need to know. It also includes pet friendly restaurants and activities to do in Cochrane. We felt they thought of everything to make it feel like home from lovely skin products to snacks and beverages. Even dog treats for Henry. The most amazing was a the rhubarb orange scones fresh from the oven the night before. Delicious! The unit itself was very clean and just like you see in the pictures. Because it's a basement suite (above ground) it was cool on the hot days, which we liked. I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting Cochrane, AB We will defiinetly return.

A cozy home for you and your dog

Excellent communication between us and the owner. Very accommodating for those who are travelling with a dog of any size. Perfect yard that the dog can use that is 100% fenced. Perfect little kitchen area that worked for quick meal creation and easy breakfasts. An awesome hot tub as well outside, nice for relaxing sore muscles. Will be coming here again!!

Perfect dog friendly VRBO !!

Kristine and Doug couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home , it was a great place to stay with our dog ! The hot tub was an added bonus, we recognize that they have only been there a few months and have worked very hard to make it a pleasant place to stay .

Fantastic Hospitality and so comfortable

It was my 41st birthday weekend (also celebrating my 40th from last year that I didn't get to because I had covid then) and we booked this wonderful place. Eveything was perfect. Loved the toiletries the owners had out. My skin still feels amazing while we are driving back home. The fridge and pantry are stocked with essentials and a bit more. They had wonderful appliances and beautiful cookware to use. Iade bacon and eggs each morning!! Their bar fridge was stocked. We did bring our own so we used that but they did let us know to help ourselves :) The hot tub, pool table and soaker tub stole the show!!! The hosts initially did a quick visit and they are so personable and lovely. Their dog is super adorable as well. The hosts actually got me a very cute spa gift and made us cupcakes when we arrived. I was not expecting that and it just shows you how much they care about their guests!. How amazing is that. There is even some raspberry bushes you can pick some berries from if you like they had mentioned and boy thr berries were yummy. All around this was a 10 out of 10 stay and we will be coming back again!! Thank you again!!! You made my birthday weekend extra-special :')
