Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay! Welcome to this four season cottage in Miller lake! Nestled amongst white cedars and birch trees and only steps away from the waters edge this cottage features all the amenities one could imagine. Newly renovated, lake view cottage surrounded by miller lake is a perfect family friendly destination! Only a 24 minute drive to Ontario’s gem,Tobermory. Close proximity to popular Bruce peninsula hiking trails, beaches and a few minutes from Lion’s Head.

This four season, two bedroom( queen bed and double) cozy cottage is the delightful and quiet escape you have been looking for. Take time to enjoy and relax in this newly built cottage home. This 1000 sq ft cottage provides guests with wonderful seasonal water views and beautiful sunsets while the trees provide you with great privacy. Everything in this cottage has recently been renovated and is new! The kitchen is spacious with a large ice/water two door fridge/freezer, oven, an enormous stainless steel sink, and microwave. It is fully equipped with all dishes, cutlery and utensils, pots and pans, toaster and coffee maker.

Escape to a home away from home! Come enjoy our cheerful and cozy cottage, steps away from Miller Lake! There are a few lake access points on both the right and left sides of the cottage on the lake. We do kindly ask that our guests bring their own firewood, bedsheets and towels.

This was a fantastic stay. The entire process was seamless, the property was great, and the views were absolutely beautiful. Working with Roberto to coordinate weather concerns was super helpful and genuinely appreciated! We really appreciated his attention to detail to let us know about the closed highways! We really enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

My dad and I had a great time at the cottage during our roadtrip. The place is nicely decorated and well-equipped -- perfect for couples or families. The hosts were very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again :)

A great forest cottage. Good facilities. We found it not short of anything we needed. Its quiet and secluded, away from the madding crowd, yet easy to get to Tobermory or Sauble Beach etc.

The check in was good. Owner responded quickly. Unfortunately the balcony and the firepit had to be cleaned before they were used. All the windows were filled with dead bugs. I had to also clean the kitchen window because it was impossible to use the sink while looking at the amount of dead insects and dirt in the window. Also the same problem in the washroom . This problem was very gross in a beautiful cottage. The livingroom couch definitely needs to be replaced. Having to clean before relaxing was annoying.

Very peaceful and relaxing area. Treed lot surrounded by the sounds of wildlife. Interior of cottage has been updated with nice kitchen and utensils. Close to everything -Summer house, hiking trails, grotto and Tobermory. Pleasant stay with my family.

Quick weekend stay

My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon so that we could visit Tobermory but also have our own space in the evenings to enjoy nature and have a campfire. The communication with the host was wonderful, check-in was very smooth, and all necessities were provided. We didn’t mind having to bring our own sheets, since we often do this anyways. Overall it was a pleasant stay amongst nature :)

Peaceful & Comfortable

My husband and I stayed for three nights. We slept comfortably and had space to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the lake area. We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning. The kitchen was modern, clean and well equipped. The location was central to all that we wanted to see and do. Perfect.

A Nice Property, but Cleanliness was Lacking

Overall, the location of the property is good, and the amenities were accurate to the listing on VRBO. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. The linens provided (two hand towels and one bath mat for the shower) were noticeably musty and were certainly not cleaned before our check in. The floors in every room were incredibly dirty, leading me to vacuum upon arrival. The mattress in the main bedroom was stained, which was easily noticeable while putting linens on the bed. Bringing your own linens to a cottage is completely normal, but the property owner should ensure that the rooms and mattress are clean. The septic is located in the back of the property, where the firepit is, and we noticed that a pile of what looked to be baby wipes/ other non-flushable products had been pulled out of the septic tank and left on top of the lid. This was easy to spot since you walk over the septic lid to get to the firepit area. All in all, the entire cottage could do with a good deep clean. I have visited the Bruce Peninsula many times, and decided on this property over other less expensive options available in the hopes that it would be cleaner than some cheaper properties. To my disappointment, this was not the case.

Advertising not correct

Location not even close to steps to lake252 ft if going onto somebody elses property .42 km to lake access ....hed to dig in ..no shovel...cleainf book says 100 vrbo says 150..ieft it like we were never there...glad i brought 2 shovels to ice fish with or would have not got in ..no bbq as advertised..no wood for wood stove..i can go onnot got in..shovel la

Formidable

We had a two night stay. The place was exactly like on the picture if not better. Very clean, all you need in the kitchen, all new appliances, games, and absolute peace. Just two minute walk to the lake to which you see through the window. Very big backyard which we didn’t use, neither did we use the Big TV. Near many attractions. I recommend this place to everyone who’s travelling in that area.
