Genesis Country Estate is a luxurious and private setting for families, friends, reunions, church retreats, wedding parties, corporate outings, concerts, and more. Genesis is situated on 7 acres and is surrounded by 600 acres of Arcadian countryside. The house was built in 1940.

Enjoy the bounty of country living in this 10,000 sq ft. luxury farmhouse. Originally a healing center, Genesis provides an elegant, relaxing environment with 9 spacious bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, including a spa room with Jacuzzi, 4 private living rooms with fireplaces, a gym, and a heated salt water pool. Watch deer graze from the wrap-around porch as you sip hot tea, practice yoga in our reflection room, or hold a karaoke or pool tournament in the recreation room.

If you are interested in Spa Services, Massages, or Facials, please let us know before booking. The owner is an experienced and renowned holistic wellness specialist, who would love to share her practice with you when available.

Please Note: WE ARE A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
Please let us know if you will require additional house cleaning services before booking. Additional cleaning fees and deposits are required for EVENTS & WEDDINGS. Additional fees for Holidays. All bookings include a 14.9% fee for state and local taxes.
Check in time is 4:00 pm & check out is 10:00 am. If you check out later than 10 am you will be billed 50.00 per hour. Due to our same day turn overs, we need that time to prepare house for next guest. Thank you for understanding

Upon departure: take linens & towels only, no comforters to laundry room. Load & start dishwasher

60th Birthday, Family Trip

Brenda Lee's Genesis Estate was perfect for our party of 16, ranging from ages 4 to 75. Communication with Brenda Lee was perfect, she was very responsive and courteous. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. The kitchen was amazing! The commercial refrigerator and stove were a huge plus. The outdoor grill and Blackstone were nearly new, and worked great! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool too. It was an amazing 4 days, and we would stay here again. Thank you Brenda Lee.

Family reunion in TN

My family and I (about 30 people) found this listing while planning our reunion for this year. I was extremely pleased with Brenda's responsiveness and eagerness to answer questions and support our planning efforts even months in advance. The property recently had some renovations so the actual condition of the house was even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the pool area, grills available for use, and the pool table in the basement. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group looking for a peaceful getaway that is still close enough to surrounding larger citiies.

Plenty of space!

This property worked well for our large group. There were plenty of beds for everyone, and lots of amenities. Ms. Lee was very good with communication, and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay.

Labor Day

Lots of space for sleeping and bathing. Very limited space for bringing in supplies for cooking. Space is occupied with owner supplies and materi als. Similar in bedrooms... had to live out of suitcases. No Hot tub, contrary to what the advertisement depicts. No large table for 10 as stated in advertising. Overall good stay.. just did not meet expectations as listed in advertising.

More Than Expected

The pool was just right for our party of 14 adults and 12 children. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had fun floaties for the kids. Given that there may have been as many as twenty of us in the pool at one time, it was nice we had it all to ourselves. We have been to many newer places, but it seems overall, the bedrooms in Genesis were larger and certainly had more character. With at least ten distinct gathering places (4 living rooms, deck, porch, dining room, patio, etc.) other than bedrooms, the home allowed us to break into smaller groups or pairs for great adult connect times. The grills served us very well. One was a large gas griddle. Our youngest son has been developing his skill as a master in “smash burgers”. The menu had been planned and he and been committed well before we arrived. But fabulous smash burgers require a griddle! They were really good! The big basement room (finished) gave us so much flexibility. The 12 kids all 10 and under could have stayed inside if they had to. It was wonderful. The hostess Brenda Lee was over the top. I had all of the communication I needed. True southern hospitality.

Peaceful getaway

This was a last minute family and friends getaway weekend and Ms. Brenda’s home was in the ideal location for all of us to meet up. The house itself is huge! And you can tell that so much love and care was put into every single room. To say the kitchen was well appointed would be an understatement! My only concern in renting the house was the pool. We were afraid that the weather would not permit the use of the pool, (chilly nights), but Ms Brenda informed us that although the pool does have a heater, it sat in full sun and the use of the heater wouldn’t be necessary. She was absolutely correct. Even at night the water was warm enough for us to swim. The weekend was perfect! The house was amazing! The host was so nice and helpful, and easy to communicate with. We truly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to get out in the country and enjoy some time with family and or friends.

Excellent property for large gatherings

We booked our family reunion at this wonderful home. This home was very spacious and had beautiful accommodations. We were able to spread out comfortably and come together in one space just as comfortable. The view of the Tennessee hills was a big bonus. The property owner could not have been more gracious and responsive. I have rented many properties over the years and Miss Brenda Lee was by far the most communicative property owner I have ever dealt with. We would not hesitate to rebook this property again sometime in the future

Great Getaway for Family & Friends. Great Host. Great House!! 👌

Lets begin with the Host! Brenda was amazing. Great communication! Answered all my questions/concerns and was very attentive to any requests we had. Definitely made you feel very welcomed 🙌. Thank you for that! Moving on to the house. The pictures are an accurate representation of what you get. Beautifully decorated. Vibrant colors which set the positive vacation vibes. Every part of the house is very spacious! Different bedroom setups for bigger size familes. Billiards table in the basement was very enjoyable. Exercise machines have various stations for a full body workout. Ample amount of showers and bathrooms. Spa room is a must!! 🔥 Outdoors you have both: a charcoal and gas grill. Ample lawn space for the youngins to run freely and safely. The fire pit at night time was a treat. For the most part we got clear skies at night so the stars and sky was beautiful. The fully fenced (heated) pool was, at least for us, the main attraction!! Great size, depth and temp! Long story short...(too late) 😁 Everyone had a blast. There was something to do for everyone in our group (ages ranged from 1.5yrs - 42yrs) Will definitely go back and recommend it to those looking for a nice getaway.

Perfect Getaway with Family

This house was just perfect for 10 of us - 5 adults and 5 kids - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and lots of differrent areas to explore in the home. We spent most of our days around the pool - we brought pop up tents for some shade as there are no pool umbrellas - and the pool was perfect - nice size and the whole pool is the same depth - 4 1/2 feet - great for games and just hanging out in the water! The kitchen provided space to prepare all meals and the grill was put to good use a few times. We made use of the yard as well for family wiffle ball games and corn hole too. All in all it was just what we wanted - a great space to hang with family !!

July vacation with friends

There were a couple problems with the pool and the property when we arrived, but Brenda did a great job rectifying both issues. We had a great time and if we come back to the Nashville area, well be sure to contact Brenda.

GENESIS VACATION

Our family of 17 adults and 3 youth enjoyed our 4 night/5 day stay. Brenda, the owner, is a person of integrity. She was always available via phone, email, and text. We found Brenda to be caring, cordial, and considerate. The spacious dining room and connecting room accommodated our large group for our Thanksgiving gathering. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate our large group. The beds were very comfortable. The 3 ovens were very handy and of much use for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. The seasonal decorations of the Christmas trees and entire house were beautiful and very tasteful. The commercial refrigerator was sufficiently large to hold all our perishables. Plus there was a nearby standup freezer. There were numerous rooms to find comfort in; including sitting rooms, den rooms, reading rooms (hosting a multitude of books), and living rooms. We found pleasure in knowing you could secure both solitude and privacy, along with group cohesiveness throughout various parts of the house. The huge basement was compartmentalized into three areas: a weight machine area with a 8' pool table, an attached open area room in which we set up our professional photohraphy needs, and a third enclosed room with mirrors in which some of us performed our aerobics and Zumba dancing. The main Living room fireplace was a pleasant addition to the warmth and coziness of the home. The size of the home met everyone's needs. The home has a nice size back outdoor pool which we can be benefited from in warmer temperatures. The outside of the home was well decorated and allowed us to take memorable family holiday photos on the front steps and porch of the home. Brenda, we thank you for sharing your lovely home facility with us.

Our Inaugural Family Meetup

It was fun from the start in finding our way around this beautiful house. Plenty of rooms with very comfortable beds and bathrooms, some with jacquzzi baths and/or showers. The huge sectional with a huge flat screen gave our guys a perfect game day. Our little ones loved the pristeen pool from early morning til evening. The adults took turns visiting around this private Oasis and joining the little ones at times. At night, we gathered around the fire pit and caught up on life. Brenda was an excellent, virtual host. Very friendly and inviting. Her local liaison was readily available by phone and very attentive to every inquiry. We came from Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky and Maryland and Genesis was worth every mile.

Family Reunion in Lascassas

The property was the perfect setting for our family of 26 to gather to celebrate one of our family members 90th birthday. The property was spacious and there was much to enjoy as a family (outdoor entertainment space with pool, indoor exercise space, open yard space for games for kids, etc...). The rooms easily accommodated the size of our family with sleeping arrangements and bathroom facilities. All of which were well maintained. The large kitchen and food preparation accommodations made it easy to serve meals for our large group. We enjoyed are stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect ladies retreat

This house was perfect for our large group! The kitchen was well stocked and the oven’s worked perfectly. Brenda and her property manager were quick communicators and very helpful. The property was beautiful and spacious. The area is great! Highly recommend!

Beautiful but you should know some things before you go...

We took a group of 28 girls to this beautiful estate for a 'Girls Retreat Weekend'. They loved the spaciousness and comfiness of the rooms! There are a few things that you should know from an organization side. Kitchen: Though there are 3 ovens on site; only one of them worked well for us. The commercial oven had a tilt that made it hard to use for certain items. We were able to heat bread in it but couldn't cook lasagna. There's also a double oven but since there were only 2 racks we could only use one of them. There are 2 sinks but only one worked. There are lots of pots/dishes but few large enough to cook or serve for that big of a crowd. There's little storage area in the kitchen, the garbage bags provided are very small/thin, and there wasn't much toilet paper provided. I found the heater for the master suite very hard to regulate. The temperature was set very low. Once turned up, it never stopped blowing hot air and then cold air. I didn't sleep at all the first night as I burned up then froze. Also, it would be good to have some instructions for the pool. The girls wanted to swim but couldn't figure out easily how to set the temperature. The initial temp said it was 80 degrees but it was very cold. If they had known that they needed to increase the temperature, they would have been able to enjoy the pool. It also would have been nice if there was dry wood for the fireplace. Overall, everyone had a great time. We really enjoyed the coffee and tea stations. The girls loved having dance parties in the basement. I loved that I could be in a different part of the house where it was quiet so I could read. : )

Wonderful for big groups!

We had a reunion of friends from all over the country meet here and had so much fun while never leaving the property! The large house was super fun for kids to explore, play hide & seek, and be in the wonderful pool all day. Brenda's communication is fantastic and the whole house is incredibly welcoming with a positive energy to it. My only minor complaints are the dishwashers don't work well and the ovens could use repair. But aside from that, I would recommend the stay to anyone!

Perfect house for amazing family reunion weekend

We loved staying at Brenda Lee's place during our family reunion. We had 12 adults and 2 children and had PLENTY of room. Nice size kitchen and plenty of spaces to socialize in big and small groups. We had a great time in the pool and just lounging on the porch. We ate almost every meal at the big double picnic table outside! This is a great place for a large group and has plenty of space -- inside and outside!

I bought this property to use as a residential healing center and dedicated it to my Dad. Living here over the past 20 years has brought great joy to my life and consequently, I have decided to share my home with others. It is an extremely peaceful property and has a natural calming effect on those who have visited. A beautiful place for families to gather together. Heated salt water pool, Volleyball, frisbee golf, wrap around porches. Beautiful sun rises, very private, surrounded by 600 acres of beautiful rolling hills. Awesome for Church retreats too!
