This VRBO property is built into the side of the hill. The front of the house faces the stream running through the property. Note the stone wall stretching across the property line! (This wall was supposedly built by Chinese laborers during the gold-mine era!) You will feel far away from the hustle and bustle of town, yet you are only 5 miles from the city center.

The house is really split into two separate apartments - one per floor. This works well for large family groups so they can eat all together in the huge kitchen upstairs, but have their own space with a small kitchen downstairs. The upstairs has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large open kitchen/dining area/living room, a huge deck, and a "music room" (piano!). The downstairs has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a laundry room, a dining area/living room with windows and glass door facing the pond.
