Winter wonderland home-away-from-home for snowmobiling and skiing. This home is less than one mile from beautiful Lake Charlevoix, nearby snow mobile trails, and 20 minutes from Boyne Mt., a quarter mile from grocery stores & shopping 15 minutes from Charlevoix, 29 minutes from Boyne City. This gracious historic 3,500 sq ft country-chic home is nestled on13 acres in the Jordan River valley. Fully renovated and updated, offering every modern convenience and professionally classic decorating. Both Master ensuites enjoy gorgeous views of the Jordan River Valley. Lots of parking, and Fully equipped with everything you'll need for your first class stay.

Jordan Valley guesthouse was featured in the Christmas issue of Home Life Magazine.

Check in and check out was a piece of cake. This home is lovely and very tastefully decorated. The beds were super comfy. Plenty of room.

New Years with the Family

Our stay was perfect! Everyone had ample space. Wonderful experience sharing meals and not feeling cramped. Our puppies had a blast as well. Easy driving distance to the ski slopes and perfect slow mornings sipping on coffee! We will definitely be back!

Picture perfect!

Our family of 6 (2 teens, 2 parents and 2 grandparents) had a lovely stay over Christmas. The property is charming and right out of a Hallmark movie! We had a very special and memorable holiday. Would definitely return!

Beautiful traditional family farmhouse

This home was perfect for us. My family stayed here for a 4-day ski vacation at Boyne Mountain. The drive over to Boyne took maybe 15 minutes each way. Cheri and Scott have done a fantastic job of appointing this home with everything a family needs. Our Irish Setter was fascinated by the deer head on the wall and kept staring at it, waiting for it to move.

Home base for family vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at the Jordan Valley Guest House. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and conveniently located for our trips in the Boyne/Charlevoix area. The bedrooms upstairs are quite large and each has easy access to a bathroom (which is such a lovely feature). Everything was easy to find and the check in process was a breeze. We heard back from Cheryl very quickly with the one question we had. A bonus for anyone with a very small infant, the walls are pretty thick. Admittedly we brought a sound machine with us, but I did not hear my sister's baby in the night. That definitely promotes a good vacation!

Our stay at Jordan River

The home is beautiful and the view is amazing. The house was very clean and it was easy to find things around the kitchen. There were a few downfalls but nothing that would ruin the stay. The hot tub leaks badly, and there are a ton of mosquitos around it due to the standing water. There are ways to combat that. The other downfall was that there were several people that randomly stopped over unannounced throughout the stay but we figured out they must be workers. One day though who ever came over to perhaps feed the chickens, left the pen open and all the chickens got out. We had to chase them all over to get them back in the pen and lock it back up. That was not our responsibility but we did so anyway. Also only half of the grill works so we had to run to get charcoal to use the other half mid cooking. One thing we thought was really neat about the house was that there is a book of photos of the remodel of the home and how they restored it to it's current condition. Looks like lots of love went into it. Definitely a neat set up. We enjoyed our stay very much minus the few little hiccups.

Perfect Stay at Great Location

Cheri's house came exactly as advertised; I would say it actually exceeded our expectations. The house was beautiful and extremely clean, and it had all the farmhouse charm you could hope for. It's perfectly located if you're interested in going the larger nearby towns (e.g. Charlevoix, Boyne City, Petoskey). Very nice views overlooking the valley as well; it was a great place to wake up and come home to at the end of each day. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house is beautfiul and has a lot of room to stretch out so you don't have to be on top of each other. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable! The owners have literally stocked the house with everything you need, which was so nice! We also really enjoyed walking the property and the views from the kitchen were beautfiul. The location was great and very convenient to lots of different areas and sites. The only downside is how close the house is to the street. It wasn't a factor downstairs, it just depends on how much of a light sleeper you are at night. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I have already recommended this place to others!

Perfect for weddings

This location is perfect for wedding parties! The home and barn are beautiful. I was not aware that there would be constant people touring the property. It was just a little awkward and some notice would have been nice. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Awesome Farm House!

This is a wonderful vacation rental for the whole family! Very clean, well kept and roomy house. There are weddings held on the grounds- so there are a lot of people coming and going to the property, but it still allows for privacy. The owners are great to work with- very accommodating, warm and easy to contact. It was a great experience for our entire family and dogs. It is right off the highway, but it was not noisy and there is a huge backyard and plenty of space to roam around.

Family getaway

Beautiful home, well appointed, kitchen is well stocked, grounds are beautiful, deck area is beautiful on summer nights for dinner, the stars are incredible in the night sky! The road frontage is heavily traveled but you cannot hear the traffic from inside the house. The home is close to the town of East Jordan and Charlevoix. Fishing, tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking and boating are all close by! We had a wonderful time! Thank you Cheri and Scott

Beautiful Property with it all!

Wow this place really had it all! You can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their property and they have thought of everything! The light-switches and cabinets are even labeled! We cooked all of our meals at the house and the kitchen was stocked with any and everything you could need. We loved sitting on the multiple porch / decks and taking in the beautiful scenery. In times of COVID this is the perfect property to just get away. We really appreciated the updated bathrooms and the place was spotless when we arrived! The owners were so kind and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. This listing says that there is a hottub but it appeared to be broken and was sitting in the parking lot so hopefully they get that fixed soon! The only other downside was some of the mattresses are a bit uncomfortable / squeaky beds but my parents told me the master bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds of any VRBO / AIRBNB they have ever stayed at.

Beautiful, spacious home with country charm

This property is lovely and the interior is beautifully updated and decorated!! The home was comfortable and spacious for our group of 8 adults plus one child. The owners have the home well-stocked with toiletries and kitchen needs. This location was a great launching point for us to enjoy Boyne Mountain and other towns in the area.

Amazing Holiday Trip

The house was beautiful, comfy, cozy and perfect for a large group. The property itself was the cherry on top, picturesc and full of entertainment, from the hot tub to bon fires to hiking. In addition, you are within a mile of anything you might need: Grocery store, restaurants, bowling, etc.

Charm, comfort & great space

Cheri & Scott’s place was perfect to help us accommodate family overflow during a short reunion on Lake Charlevoix. The space was gorgeous & inviting, located near enough to EJordan & the lake. The owners were accessible & eager to help with any questions we had. We’ll be back again if we ever need more space than my sister’s cottage can handle. Great find!

Gorgeous, beautifully decorated home with everything you could possibly need!

Our family (3 generations, 4 couples, and our labradoodle) spent 4 days here between Christmas and New Year's. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The tub was a big hit after being outside in the snow and frigid temperatures. The house is conveniently located, and the views are incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!
