Nestled in the foothills of Paterson Valley this beautiful modern farmhouse is situated on 10 cleared acres and is close to local services. Surrounded by stunning views and wildlife, home to a herd of 4 horses and 2 friendly dogs this property is the perfect place to spend a few days getting back to nature. Central to Tocal, Mindaribba, Vacy ,Morpeth and Dungog you are able to explore local towns, food, wine and tourism. Ideal for large family getaways , group visits and wedding celebrations. House sleeps 12 ppl - 8 in main house which is linked by the breezeway to a seperate studio which sleeps 4 , relax on one of the decks and take in the magical sunrise and sunsets. Please note Hosts reside on property in seperate residence during the evening and uphold your privacy at all times. We also have a strict no party policy but family or small celebrations are most welcome

Brilliant house, brilliant host, brilliant stay!! The house is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need, has a lovely open and light filled ambience and lovely plants, Lisa is super friendly and responsive if you message - really just a wonderful find if it happens to be free when you want it!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and modern with everything we needed. Lots of verandah and bbq area where the family could relax and enjoy the view of the hills and countryside. Our young grandchild enjoyed the spacious surroundings, riding their bikes, patting the dogs and watching the horses.A great place for a family to unwind. Our hosts Lisa and Wes were very accommodating and helpful.

Lovely comfortable house

We had a lovely stay for my husbands 70th birthday. The house is well appointment and very well equipped. Great rural location between Vacy and Paterson both with pubs and cake shop! Highly recommend.

Beautiful farm stay

Such a lovely clean house with stunning views. The house layout was perfect for groups. We loved the separate studio just across the deck for the light sleepers that didn’t want to be disturbed. Gorgeous horses at the back and the most affectionate dogs, Alice and Bear, who came to visited us and lapped up all the attention! Lisa is a great host and was so accommodating. We all had a great weekend and didn’t want to leave!

Suggestion

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Wish it had been longer. Couple of comments: it would be better to have a door on bathroom of main suite for privacy if 2 were using room. It didn't affect our group but for others...Also personally I found pillow too high; might help to have a flatter one in room. But thanks for how you look after your place. It was great!

Relaxing country vibe

Great setup to relax with your friends. Nice location and house is beautifully presented. Love the view across the valley and mountains. Awesome host.We had a great stay.Minor suggestion-prefer a normal door instead of Obscure Glass door to the main bathroom.

Beautiful view and home

Great experience, beautiful views and amazing home hosts were lovely and helpful. However the fridge wasnt too powerful especially the freezer and the TV didnt work properly. We also didnt realize the hosts were also staying on the property in a seperate house.

Celebrate an 85th birthday

12 of our family joined to celebrate my wife's 85th and we found absolutely everything to be exactly as described on the website - great location in the country, excellent inside areas to gather either together or in groups, excellent kitchen, cooking facilities, very generous store cupboard of essential items,loved the friendly dogs except our rubber cricket ball was chewed!

Perfect for the family

Just a perfectly lovely home for a family weekend away. Spacious, clean & beautifully furnished. More than enough room for our group of 12 & despite being a wintery weekend we were warm & cosy with the fireplace & plenty of games & books to keep us entertained. The kids loved the horses & visits from the very friendly Bear & Alice. Terrific spot, highly recommend.

We loved staying at this beautiful home in Paterson

Our group of 9 friends had an overnight stay at this beautiful home in Paterson. The layout was perfect for us. The beds were very comfy as were the large comfortable lounges. This home was presented beautifully and was clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Birthday Getaway

We booked this property for my husband’s birthday, to celebrate with a group of 10. There was more than enough room for the whole group. The house was immaculately clean, exceptionally comfortable and had everything that you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend away. It was an easy drive to the big wineries in the area and, with the beautiful deck to sit on watching the view while we enjoyed our days purchases, it was perfect. I cannot recommend it enough!! Thank you to our hosts.

Family get together over Christmas

We spent a well-earned 5-night Christmas break on this lovely property. Everything was exactly as we hoped - nice clean spacious homely relaxing - for 11 people to have their own space and plenty of room to have card games and watch tv together. There was a BBQ and even a rice cooker☺️ and a kitchen aid stand mixer! The local butcher was fine, and supermarkets were just 20mins away. A little way from the main wineries but still it was only about 50 mins drive. Bear and Alice (the 2 dogs) were lovely - but Bear, lose those 6kgs next time we see you ok? Alice, we might bring you a new throwing stick! Lisa and Wes were both unassuming and terribly helpful, which we much appreciated. We recommend this property to anyone.

Worth the drive

About an hour from the Hunter Valley wineries we toured but worth the drive to be in a beautiful and spacious home, in a serene and lovely location. Well appointed. Some great features. New. Also, away from town and neighbourhood lights so the stars are absolutely stunning.

Five star family weekend

Excellent stay. Great layout for large family group or group of friends. super comfy beds and friendly dogs who came for a visit! Great double aspect to be able to catch the morning sun and sun set on the balcony and deck Definitely recommend!
