Casa Nostra - 4 bedroom home with a spa

About the home

“Casa Nostra” is a modern single-storey family home just a short walk from the beach in Surf Beach with a spa and coonara. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The large open plan kitchen/dining/living room (with coonara, 85' smart TV with Sonos sound bar & Harman/Kardon speaker) is the perfect place to spend time together and provides access to the enclosed sunroom and Alfresco which are delightful indoor/outdoor spaces. The main bedroom at the rear of the home is accessed via a hallway off the living room and has a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet) as well as a 65' smart TV, work desk, a USB-C connector that acts as charger and connector to accessories, mouse, professional microphone, high definition camera and 34 wide monitor that can be used for working from home. Also off the side hall are Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR), a laundry and the main bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate toilet. The front family room is being used as a 4th bedroom (with 85' smart TV with Sonos sound bar) and there is internal access to the double garage.

Outdoor Areas

The covered alfresco area has 2 tables with seating for 6 (and convenient wheels to enable the entertaining to move outdoors). From the Alfresco, step out onto the brand new deck with external fireplace, Oklahoma Joe BBQ smoker (charcoal and gas) and the amazing 6-seater electric heated spa. This is the ideal space overlooking the fully enclosed rear yard, which is perfect for kids and features a hot & cold water outdoor shower. There is parking for two cars in the large double garage (with internal access into the home plus a table tennis table) and parking in the driveway for another two cars.

Please note there are security cameras at the home facing external areas only & this home is NOT pet friendly.

Kitchen

The fully appointed entertainers kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Espresso machine and grinder, toaster, kettle, juicer, blender, sandwich maker, etc. plus a double sink, full sized fridge and a second smaller fridge, dishwasher, gas oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has ducted heating and cooling throughout the home. There is also a coonara-style wood heater in the living room (note a little firewood will be available to get you started).

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds accommodating up to 8 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed)
Bedroom 3: Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed)
Bedroom 4: One Queen bed

Note: Bedroom 4 is the front family room and does not have a door separating it from the hallway.

Please note that if you want the Long Single beds to be converted into King beds prior to your arrival, we need at least one week's notice before checking in.
Long single mattress dimensions are approximately 91cm x 203cm and converted king bed dimensions are approximately 180cm x 203cm.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
