• Multiple Living Spaces: Light-filled main living area with log burner and heat pump. Separate lounge with cosy gas fireplace. Dedicated theatre room for movie nights.
• Gourmet Kitchen overlooking the living area—ideal for hosting and preparing meals together.
• Bi-fold doors opening to sun-soaked decking and lawn.

Designed for relaxation and togetherness, this luxury Lake Hood home offers an inviting open-plan layout that flows seamlessly from the gourmet kitchen to the sunlit living and dining areas. Bi-fold doors extend the space onto expansive decking, perfect for alfresco dining, morning coffees, or simply soaking in the lake atmosphere. Multiple living zones, including a private theatre room and a second lounge with gas fireplace, ensure everyone can unwind in comfort.
Bedding Configuration:
Lower level: Bedroom 1: Queen bed, Bedroom 2: Queen bed.
Upper Level: Master Suite: Cal King bed, Bedroom 4: Queen bed, Bedroom 5: 2 x King Single beds, Bedroom 6: Queen bed.
Self-Catering: Only initial supplies provided (toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, tea, coffee), guest supply their own on extended stays. Bedding and Towels are provided, but please bring your own beach/lake towels.
Guests have access to the entire house, and exclusive use of the private Jetty for boat or Jet Ski parking. There is no Garage access.
You’ll have access to our AI Virtual Host 24/7 throughout your stay. We’re also available to assist with any questions via the messaging system on the platform you booked through.
Lake Hood is Canterbury`s prestigious recreational location with a Lake purpose built for watersports and public reserves ideal for gatherings, BBQ`s, lakeside walks, and local events. There is a public boat ramp, a 9 Hole golf course on the edge of the Lake, a Lakeside Restaurant and Bar, and is only 8 mins drive from Ashburton Township.
Please note: Our pricing is structured on a per-guest fee to keep the base rate lower for smaller groups rather than charging the maximum occupancy rate. Please ensure you select the correct number of guests when booking.
There are two security cameras on the property. Both of these cameras face outwards of the property and are not present inside the property. The cameras must not be removed, covered, or adjusted at any time.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to fill out our check-in form where you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
By booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in our Rental Policy and agree to follow our HOUSE RULES:
- No pets
- No smoking anywhere inside the property
- Report any breakages or damage
- Check-out by your agreed time
- Respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum after 9pm
- Follow our STRICT NO PARTY POLICY.
- Only the number of booked occupants may occupy and enjoy the property.
- The primary guest making the booking must be at least 25 years old and staying at the property for the duration of the reservation.
- Subletting is not permitted under any circumstances.
Please Note: We charge a per-guest fee (up to the 12-person maximum) to help keep the rate lower for smaller groups. If your guest count increases after booking, just let us know so we can adjust your booking accordingly and advise the extra fee.
