This two elevator building makes your vacation a VACATION. Use the provided luggage carts for easy loading and unloading.

There are many local activities available in the summer. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk offers carnival rides as well as many interesting shops and restaurants. Get some sun as you pedal leisurely around Carolina Beach Lake in a single or double paddle boat, or pick up speed in a barracuda bike or a kayak. The Lake park also includes a weekly farmers market on Saturdays. There's also Movies-at-the-lake and fireworks at the nearby fishing pier. An easy and great experience. 6th time staying at pelican watch. First time in this condo. The unit was clean and kept up. It was exactly as described. Would recommend and rent again.

The condo was lovely & clean. Little issue with the dishwasher hose tangled & caused back up in sink. It was reported to management. Elevators could have been cleaner.

Oceanfront Gem

We spent 4 nights at the condo over the Thanksgiving holiday. Check in was easy. Although the building is older and showing its age, the condo itself is fantastic! End unit with lots of light and AWESOME views! Everything was clean and nicely decorated, great layout with plenty of room to spread out with our two teens. Easy private beach access. We loved sitting on the porch every morning and evening to watch the sun rise and set, and saw tons of pelicans, even some porpoises. The weather was unexpectedly sunny and warm, so we rented boogie boards and wet suits from Tony Silvagni’s surf shop and had a blast in the waves. Ordered take out dinner one night from the Tiki Grill and it was great. We would definitely return!

Easter getaway

Pros: The condo was lovely. Clean. Cute. First place we have stayed at in a long time where the mattresses didn’t suck. It’s in a great location with plenty of parking. Cons: While the condo was wonderful, the building it is in isn’t very nice. We booked this particular unit because it had an indoor pool in the complex and an elevator. The indoor pool wasn’t working at all and one of the elevators wasn’t working either. While I knew the pool wasn’t a guarantee, it hadn’t been working before we got there. It would have been nice to have known that beforehand. I feel the premium price for the unit became a little high without the amenities working properly. The other thing that bugs me, is the property listing clearly stated linens were included. A linen rental price was tacked on during the payment process. The linens were not very nice. The sheets were stained and clearly past their prime. Bring blankets if you like cozy!

Hurricane Ian

Regarding our stay at Pelican Watch 9-28 through 10-1 The condo was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the views stunning. However, we did have the following issues: 1. When it was obvious that we were under Hurricane Ian’s storm, we requested that the hurricane shutters be pulled down. We were informed they do not use that for renters (thank God none of the balcony chairs came through the glass sliding doors). We were amazed that we could even slide the glass sliding doors open, as the tracks were full of dirt prior to the storm. It was a little disturbing that we would told to “hunker down” and put towels on the floor for the water coming in through the sliding doors and over the snack bar vent/foyer table vents. 2. There were no flashlights or candles provided if we had lost power. 3. There were no instructions on how to use the TV’s. We “assumed” all the batteries were low as every remote took almost 5 minutes to not only turn the TV on but to change channels. Once we got the DVD playing the power flickered, so the DVD started over from the beginning. When we tried to fast forward to “scene selection,” it stated, “This function is not available.” Once again, instructions and extra batteries would have been nice. 4. We wish we had been informed that the hot tub was broken. We couldn’t believe they just let that black water sit in it with a sign that said “Spa closed”

Perfect for our group

Enjoyed our trip and it was wonderful being oceanfront. End unit offers views of ocean from the master bedroom (king) and and a south view of the area and ocean from the kitchen and 2 bedrooms (queen and 2 twin beds). The kitchen and living room have an open room concept which is nice to be able to interact with everyone while cooking. Parking available for 2 cars in the private lot across the street. Just a few minute drive to local restaurants and the small amusement park. The beach is clean and family friendly.

Home away from home

Great condo! Beautiful inside and amazing views from all rooms! Parking is across the street but the carts were a help with loading and unloading cars. Everyone was so friendly!! Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!

Amazing view!

Lovely condo overlooking the ocean! The pelicans fly right by the deck! Everything is provided. The owner is delightful and the agents at Bullard Realty across the street are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place to stay.

This condo was a beautiful place to stay. It was roomy and tastefully decorated. The views out of the windows and off the deck were outstanding. The only problem we had was that some of the dishes were dirty which was easily fixed. I would recommend it highly.

Amazing

Soon as we opened the front door.... we knew it was perfect!!! This was our first time trying out the Carolina beach area. Each year we try to check out a new place so we can scout areas for retirement too. If we could purchase a condo right now this one would be it!! Talk about ocean views...... from every room in the condo!! Everything looked updated,newer and clean! Beds were extremely comfortable as well. Indoor pool area was great and always clean. Overall we loved this area! The first two days it rained while we were there but even being inside with the kids for a while...... we could just sit for hours and zone out with the incredible views. Would totally recommend.

Perfect Family Spot

This is our third time at Pelican Watch and this was our third condo. It was the best so far. The space is modern/updated and clean. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, sofa and chairs. Lots of balcony chairs. And the view is amazing. This end unit has windows on the side which gives lots of natural light. We’ll be back.

First time using vrbo, everything was easy and I knew exactly what the condo was going to look like and be. The only thing would be easier was the payment plan. Down payment was easier. Splitting up the payments was not an easy process.

Perfect place to stay if your goal is the ocean, chillling and spending time with family😎 Fireworks on Thursday night can be viewed from the beach or balcony. Tiki bar within walking distance. All make for a perfect week.

We've owned a condo in Carolina Beach since 2010 and we purchased this amazing condo in 2016. We love Carolina Beach and can't wait to share our condo with you. It doesn't get any more relaxing than Carolina Beach in the summer!

Our condo is Beachfront, We are on the 10th floor of a beautiful 11 story concrete and steel hi-rise building with 2 elevators. Just high enough for great views, but not too high! Spectacular wide beach and panoramic view. The condo has 2 full baths, washer-dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and cable TV. Oceanfront balcony from living area and master bedroom. Heated indoor pool and hot tub. Outdoor pool, sundeck, private walk to beach, charcoal grills and picnic area on oceanfront.

The Ocean Front Master has a King with a new pillow top mattress and private bath; the 2nd bedroom has a new pillow top mattress; 2 new pillow top twins are in the third bedroom. The living room features a Queen Sleeper Sofa. Only weekly rentals (Saturday to Saturday) are available during the summer peak season. Call +1 (800) 327-5863 for special request bookings!

Sheets and towels ARE provided in the rental! Departure cleaning is an additional $135.00 plus tax. Two parking passes are provided for the lot across the street. Call if you need additional parking.
