We were basically only at property to sleep as we were in the Hokianga for the country music festival, which was fantastic! The drive from property to town was easy. Lovely quiet place with bird chorus playing beautifully until we left for Opononi.TIP make sure you take fly spray, luckily we did, as ants are numerous. Only negative.

Lovely stay in Opononi

Gorgeous setting, cosy fire, and we loved the view, the hammock, and being able to walk down to the beach.

Our host was very accommodating -answered all our questions. The location was beautiful - great view of the bay and a perfect setting for star gazing on a clear night. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Beautiful bush surrounded seclusion with magnificent view of the north side of Hokianga Harbour. House is modern, spacious and generously supplied with kitchen gear and out door loungers. We came when the tomatoes were ripe and they were a welcome addition to our salad. Beach access is for the sure footed. A lovely peaceful place to relax

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property itself is stunning — beautifully presented and set in an incredible location. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that great care had been taken to create a special experience for guests.Our host was exceptional — highly communicative, warm, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had the best possible stay. The level of manaaki shown throughout made us feel truly welcomed and valued.I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and seamless stay. Lovely spot

Beautiful home and property with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Enjoyed the lovely spacious kitchen, board games, walking tracks, and bonus beach access.

Awesome stay

Awesome place to stay, great communication, peaceful spot, great place for kids also, I would definitely stay again. Only thing maybe get someone to clean and air out before having guest arrive as it smelt closed up for a longtime but was a great stay thank you

Thanks so much, Breeze and thanks so much for the feedback which I'll pass on to our property manager. Sometimes it can be a week or so between stays so that's helpful to know. I hope we can host you again. Ngā mihi Kerre PS: Also you get five stars for house rules! I have no idea why it says four! Honestly, it's when I use the app for rating - one poor guest got one star ratings for everything and he was actually brilliant. I'm only going to do the ratings on the computer now.

Wow what a spot

We had an awesome time in this piece of Paradise. Stunning views and wonderful accommodation. Our Host was super thoughtful and accommodating and excellent communication. We would absolutely recommend this spot.

Great peaceful place

We found the house after a long drive at the end of the long road. It was a true haven. Stylish but not fancy, it was perfectly comfortable and we felt immediately at home. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly designed.

Lovely family bach

It was great! Rustic with fabulous views! Comfortable and spacious.beds were comfortable so slept really well as it's very quiet. Definitely stay again

School holiday escape

Loved the house, great kitchen for those who love to cook, private spot with stunning views. Short bush walk takes you down to the water. Amazing place and people were fantastic to deal with.
