The Space:

Perched on a cliff above the Pacific, Villa Bohemia is a private, light-filled villa where ocean, sky, and thoughtful design come together in a way that feels both relaxed and refined. From sunrise to sunset, the ever-changing sea becomes the backdrop to your stay.



The home opens fully to the outdoors with wide folding doors and windows on multiple sides, allowing ocean breezes and natural light to flow through the space. Outside, the expansive terrace features a private plunge pool, hammocks, and generous seating areas—ideal for slow mornings, long afternoons, and evenings spent watching whales, turtles, seabirds, and the waves of Zicatela below.



Inside, Villa Bohemia has been carefully curated with natural woods, artisanal décor, warm textures, and soft lighting create an atmosphere that is calm, welcoming, and unmistakably unique.

The villa includes three bedrooms, all with air conditioning, two full bathrooms, and fast Starlink Wi-Fi throughout. The layout offers privacy while maintaining an open, airy feel. At night, fall asleep to ocean air and quiet surroundings, feeling tucked away yet completely at ease.

Our neighborhood, El Faro, is in the perfect location of Puerto Escondido. Equal distance from your practically empty walking beach at Playa Bacoccho and world class Surf beach Playa Zicatella with all the shopping and restaurants in The Rinconada less than 1 km away. 10 minutes to walk to Playa Manzanillo where you can step out into the water and snorkle. 10 minutes to walk to The Adoquin with its shopping and night market. Less than 10 minutes in a taxi to downtown and the main grocery store. 15 minutes in a taxi to the Mercado with its local Mexican flare and authentic food. We are in the heart of Puerto Escondido!



5 minutes by taxi from the airport or bus station. If you enjoy the heat it is easy to walk anywhere you want to go. But getting a taxi is 1 block away and you almost never have to wait more than a few minutes for the next taxi to come. Come experience the luxury and convenience of Villa Bohemia.



The Neighborhood:

Our neighborhood, El Faro, is ideally located in Puerto Escondido. It is equally close to the quiet walking beach at Playa Bacocho and the world-class surf beach at Playa Zicatela, with shops and restaurants in La Rinconada less than 1 km away.



It is a 10-minute walk to Playa Manzanillo, where you can easily enter the water and snorkel, and a 10-minute walk to El Adoquín, known for its shopping and night market.



It’s less than a 10-minute taxi ride to downtown and the main grocery store, and about 15 minutes by taxi to the Mercado, known for its local Mexican flair and authentic food.



Getting Around:

It is about 5 minutes by taxi from the airport or bus station. If you enjoy the heat, it is easy to walk to most places.



Taxis are available one block away, and you rarely have to wait more than a few minutes. A taxi ride within Puerto Escondido typically costs around 40 pesos.



Other Things to Note:

We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum. No smoking of any kind.



All guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to their stay. A secure link will be sent before arrival, and completion is necessary in order to access the property.



**Please note that the main shared pool at La Escondida is currently undergoing maintenance and is expected to be unavailable until approximately mid-June. Guests will still have full access to the second shared pool during this time.
