On the main floor, the house has:
-living room and seated dining area
-Master bedroom with Queen bed
-smaller bedroom with double/full bed
-full bathroom
-bathroom with sink, toilet and laundry
-fully-stocked kitchen with a keurig coffee maker

Top floor is accessed by stairs and is a large bedroom with a queen bed. There is not a door to the upstairs bedroom, however it is private.

The living room has a tv that you may connect with your computer for viewing (there is no cable). It is a smart TV, so you can log into your Prime and Netflix memberships on the TV.

We have heating and air-conditioning.

The yard is great for kids to run around, or build a snowman.

Ride on the trails, walk to the park, play in the yard, and enjoy fun and adventurous activities in the area.

In the winter, we are located a convenient 25-35 minute drive to nearby ski resorts, such as Horseshoe Valley Resort and Mount St. Louis-Moonstone. Snow Valley and Horseshoe resorts both have tubing for the kids. Horseshoe and Hardwood Hills offer cross-country skiing, as well as local trails at Bass Lake Provincial Park - join a full moon ski at Horseshoe! With enough snow (there almost always is), the nearby Golf Course (15 min walk, 3 min drive) has fun, free tobogganing. There is easy access to free X-Country/nordic skiiing and snow shoeing just steps from our door on Lake Couchiching and the Lightfoot trail.

New to the area is the luxurious Vetta Spa, with a circuit of saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges and warm spas. There are social and quiet zones, as well as a spot for a bite to eat or a cocktail. Highly recommend!

If you are feeling lucky, Casino Rama is a short 20 minute drive away.

In the summer, the nearby beach is a 10 minute walk or quick bike ride. It has lifeguards during the day (from end of school to labour day), a great playground, paddle boat rentals and ice cream! For the sporty, hit the trail with your bike and go all the way to Georgian Bay. No matter the season, there is adventure available.

Tudhope Memorial Park is a a 15 minute bike ride, and has another public beach, free splash pad and the SplashOn waterpark.

Orillia is a great spot to explore Muskoka. Spend the day visiting Port Severn, Bala, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst, Santa's Village and the famous Weber's Restaurant. There is also an Orillia Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, and a Gravenhurst Market on Wednesdays.

At night, try the Muskoka or Barrie Drive-In, catch a show at Casino Rama, The Geneva Concert Venue or The Orillia Opera House.

Bass Lake, McCrae and Mara Provincial Parks are 20 min drives away.

We are also 20-30 minutes from many resorts, including Hardwood Ski and Bike, Horseshoe Valley and Mt. St. Louis - Moonstone. Lake Couchiching is great for skating, and ice fishing in the winter.

There are several local paddle board companies that do excursions and lessons, such as Sunrise Yoga Studio and A Breath of Fresh Air Paddle Sports.

Orillia has an authentic small town charm. Watch a band play in the 1920's band stand at the park, or catch some of the great festivals: Mariposa Folk Festival, Kids for Peace, Perch Festival, Scottish Festival, to name a few. (check for COVID cancellations)

Orillia is extremely safe. It is fun and relaxing for families to spend their days in Couchiching Beach Park or Moose Beach Park. Staying for a week? Swimming lessons at nearby Couchiching Beach Park are available.

We have 2 children's bikes available to use - just bring helmets!

In the Fall - search "Orillia Fall Colours" to find a variety of drives, walks and biking routes. There are also many artist studio tours during the fall that combine a drive through the country-side with fall colours. The Images Artist Studio Tour occurs every Thanksgiving.

House Rules
We live on a quiet, residential street. Please be respectful of our neighbours.
No parties or events.
House must be left tidy. Dishes must be cleaned and fridge emptied of your contents.
Replacement cost plus $20 fee for any missing or damaged towels and bedding. Please do not dye hair at our property.
Maximum of three cars.
No unauthorized guests.
No smoking or vaping on the property. Cleaning charge for cigarette butts found outdoors.
Winter guests - Please note Orillia is very snowy and the stairs and driveway are slippery. Salt is provided for steps. Snow tires recommended.
