Enjoy both downtown and skiing with this convenient location! 15 minutes from the airport, Midvale, UT is located at the convergence of interstates 15 and 215. Those same interstates will get you quickly to ski resorts and Salt Lake City. This central location makes traveling easy. My home is a great place to stay year round. In the summer, the pool is open and we enjoy sitting under the gazebo eating BBQ while the kids jump in the pool. During the winter months, the slopes are a short and convenient drive. Visiting downtown is very convenient and fun to do all year round. In addition, there are restaurants, a movie theater, sports stadiums, bowling, and bars within a few minutes drive. Bowling, and "a bar named sue" which has free pool, darts, and shuffle board are 2 blocks away. This open concept family friendly apartment has 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 beds (one room has two sets of bunk beds for the kids), a kitchen and a great room with a Foosball table. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils, dining sets, a keurig, coffee mugs, and wine glasses. It also has a full bathroom stocked with towels, shampoo and soap. In addition, guests have access to the wifi. Our guests have left reviews that praise the apartments location because it is very convenient to get to Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude: a 25 minute drive. It is also easy to stay here to get downtown. We have a light rail station 1 mile away. The light rail station is walkable, or easy to park and ride downtown. Our past guests have stayed for the many conferences that Salt Lake City holds. Our guests also love the family friendly environment. Kids have a blast playing Foosball, or swimming in the pool. The open concept living space makes it really easy to watch the kids while the adults are relaxing. In addition to that, i respond very quickly and strive to earn a five star review on every visit.

Great location!!

Kris could not be more friendly and hospitable. This is a basement unit but was very spacious. Great communication and responded very quickly. I would definitely stay here again on my next ski trip!

It met our needs

The hosts were very helpful. The property was adequate for what we needed. I was disappointed that the pool water was green because the pool was why I was drawn to this property. My grandkids still swam and had a great time. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was quirky but adaquate.

Good for families

We had a good stay at this centrally located home. The basement is quiet and was spacious enough for seven adults. One bathroom isn’t the best but we made it work! Although we didn’t have the time to use it, the pool looked appealing.

We were able to communicate with the host who was helpful and accommodating. Nice roomy basement rental. Had 6 of us stay and some friends stop to visit. Beats a hotel all day long.

Family and Friends Ski Vacation

My wife and I took our three teen boys and three of their friends on a ski trip. 8 of us. 6 teenagers. The house accommodated us perfectly. Plenty of space. Plenty of hot water. It was good. And when we asked something from the owner, he responded quickly and positively without any hassle. A+ stay.

Very Nice, cozy place.

Very nice, owners very helpful easy to get a hold off, and put up with all the noise we made as my children loves to play board games whenever they are together, will absolutely book it again since our son lives nearby and we will be visiting him and his family frequently.

Utah vacation

Was a little confused getting into property at first, but got in without assistance. Nice place, plenty of room for a family of 4. Kids really liked the provided snacks, and the inground pool. Definitely better than a hotel room.

Cozy spot for ski hangout

My daughter and classmates stayed the week before class to be closer to skiing and take a remote class together. WiFi was great for all 4 to connect. Combined kitchen and lounging area, great amenities, and plenty of sleeping space made this a perfect option. Owners were very quick to re-stock supplies and answer questions. Will consider when my husband and I return to ski this spring.

Great place, close to the mountains

Kris was a great host. The place is very spacious, affordable, and best of all, it was only a 25 minute drive to skiing. The bathroom was well equipped with everything our group needed, there were snacks waiting for us upon arrival, and Kris reached out during our stay to see if there was anything we needed.

Homey with lots of extras

They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The rental is a clean and comfy basement with lots of space. The back yard is a nice little haven with a great pool and gazebo. The property is central to anywhere you want to go in the SLC area. Awesome place! We will definitely stay here again!!!

What a fantastic place to stay, and great for the price. The property manager was easy to communicate with, and was very helpful. Definitely staying here again next time! We had 8 people, and not a single problem! It’s like your own 3 bedroom apartment.

Great Stay

For four men on a ski trip looking to hit multiple mountains this property was perfect. It is an easy drive to all the slopes. It has three bedrooms with four large beds. Full kitchen with all the essentials to do our own cooking, large living room to relax, a garage to drop our skis, solid wifi, and a parking spot in the driveway. Kris was easy to work with and answered any questions we had quickly. It was like being at home. And the price is right!

Awesome Deal!

I was worried about staying in a basement apartment for fear of noise from people upstairs. We never heard anyone! It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Five Star reasons: 1) Great location. Close to stores and activities 2) Private and quiet 3) Exclusive access to the backyard (including gazebo, grill, and pool) 4) GREAT PRICE!! 5) Lots of room to sleep. Great for large group or large family One Note: There is not a washer and dryer for clothes. Come prepared with that in mind.

good deal

The property is clean, properly appointed and very functional. It is a very good value. Would stay there again without hesitation. Actually is well located to the SLC area especially for skiing at Snowbird, Snow Basin, and Alta. Comfortable beds and furniture. Plenty of room with 5 occupants. Only drawback is that the apartment is a basement so no waking up to the sunshine through the windows.

Right location, right size, great value and clean

Our family of 6 adults, one teen and an infant was well accommodated and comfortable for 4 days. The property Is closely located to all services and freeways, but is quiet and serene. We did not use any of the outdoor amenities due to the winter cold, but we would definitely consider a summer stay to enjoy them. We particularly felt that the pricing was good and no irritating “extra” costs tacked on at reservation. Thank you, Kris, for an enjoyable stay.

Clean, and easy. Response from hosts quick and timely when a need arose.

I am a fun loving outdoorsy kind of guy Also, I enjoy having guests over and being hospitable. Dirty homes turn me off and as such keep mine very clean. Despite that, I am very easy to get along with. My personality is very relaxed and so I make friends easily. I am originally from the east coast and fell in love with Utah as soon as I visited here. Currently, I am currently going to the University of Utah for my Masters Degree in Real Estate Development. My undergrad degree is from Rutgers University in NJ in Economics. I took those classes while I was enlisted in the military. Overall, I really enjoy the outdoors and being with family.

The Apartment is located in a quiet lovely neighborhood set back from a major road. The neighborhood has great mountain views and is refreshing to walk or jog around outside. There is not much traffic in the neighborhood provided you stay away from the highway. Our neighbors have several little kids (3-7) they take on walks everyday. The neighborhood is a very safe place with a library 1 block away.

There are multiple restaurants within walking distance. Bumblebees Korean bbq is the best! Moochies cheesesteaks are great also!

There is a 7-11 one block away as well as a gas station.
If you need groceries you may go to Harmons which is less than a mile away.

A bar named sue is within walking distance that is easy to stumble back from after a few hours of drinking. The host would be happy to accompany any guest to the bar on request. At the bar, they have free pool, darts, and shuffleboard.

This location is the best in convenience!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

While staying here, you will enjoy the location and convenience of getting anywhere in the salt lake valley. If it is winter, it is super easy to find the freeway to get to all ski resorts in the salt lake valley; including park city. If it is summer time, the pool is open and awesome. The backyard is so much fun to spend time with your family swimming, grilling and hanging out in the gazebo. To me, I want to have a nice place to sleep that is close to everything so that it is easy for me to enjoy traveling and sightseeing. This is for sure that place!
