This was truly the perfect property for our group; we had a combination of couples and single adults and we had plenty of space to all be together as well as plenty of spaces to escape to. The pool and backyard were also a great place to enjoy at the end of the day-thank you!

This home is absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is very well stocked. It is conveniently located between Charleston, Sullivan’s Island and many other tourist attractions.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and a great place for five couples and a few kids to stay (if the kids can stay in the bunk rooms together). Its location next to the beach is ideal, and the pool in the backyard is wonderful when the weather cooperates. The hosts were very communicative and helpful when we had questions or issues. Overall it worked well for our needs for a weekend away with friends.A couple things to note for those who are considering booking:- the size and “niceness” of the rooms varies a bit, more than I realized in the listing, which wasn’t a big issue for us but worth noting. - the jacuzzi comes at an additional fee, which is indicated in the listing, but it’s also only available for two hours per day, which we didn’t learn until inquiring. I understand why this is the case now based on past reviews, but it was disappointing to us to learn given the price of the house, so wanted to flag. These were minor in the end and we greatly enjoyed the house and our time together. Just an FYI.

Fantastic vacation home for multiple families

Sea Gem is a very well appointed home with all the amenities you need for a really fabulous multi family vacation. Being right across the street from the beach was wonderful. Paired with a great sized pool in the backyard what more can you need. Only downside that isn’t any fault of the home or owners was the noisy landscapers machines. Other than that, perfect!

Great stay

Our family had a great time at Sea Gem. Our group of 11 found the home very comfortable and spacious. We loved the short walk to the beach, and the pool area was a private and relaxing place to enjoy. It was a beautiful place to make memories!

Informed upon arrival the Dryer wasn’t working. Never received text message about dryer status despite several text messages. Also shared garage lights didn’t work but were not fixed.

Great Stay

The house was very clean and in a great location. We were right across from the beach access and had everything we needed. The check in/out process was seamless. Would stay here again.

Birthday Trip

We had 14 people travel to IOP from all over to visit together in celebration of a milestone birthday. This house was an excellent find for our purposes. The house itself is gorgeous and well furnished and with so many porches! The pool and back yard were lovely as well. And the beach is about as close as can be. Grocery and most restaurants/bars are about 1.5 miles down the road but manageable. The Outpost was also a lovely for coffee, lunch and souvenirs. My only complaint was the lack of any basic seasonings in the kitchen. Not even Salt and Pepper. There were PLENTY of coffee filters, however. I don’t recommend anyone bring coffee filters for at least a few years. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend spot!

Thanksgiving house

We rented this house Thanksgiving week and it was perfect. Plenty of room for all ages and the kitchen well equipped for making big family meal! Beautiful views and perfect location on IOP.
