Michel's Landing is within a couple of blocks to Snowmobile and ATV Trails, Fishing, Boating & Hiking all located (2) blocks from Lake Gogebic. This is every outdoor enthusiast's place to be due to the location, views and the coziness of your own home. The house attracts all ages, couples, solo adventurers and families. With (4) bedrooms and all amenities included this house is not one to pass up, come stay with us today! (2) Car garage available to use during your stay. There is also ample parking for trucks and trailers in the driveway and yard.

*STRICT NO PET POLICY! If pets are found to be on the premises during any stay we reserve the right to terminate the booking immediately and/or make a claim against the security deposit.
**Outside perimeter security cameras for the safety of our guests and property.

Make sure to cover yourself if you stay at this property! Leave with proof of the condition of the home or you might get threatened with damage and cleaning charges. The property was fine, a great area and close to the lake. Everything was wonderful until we checked out and got a message from the owners that there were issues with the house as far as cleaning and issues with bedding. I was accused of not leaving the house clean and ruining a couple sets of sheets and warned that they would be filing a claim. I requested proof of these claims and after many messages back and forth I was sent 2 pictures that supposedly showed an "unknown substance" on the sheets. They withdrew their attempt to charge additional fees when I mentioned that I had video proof. The whole ridiculous exchange left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure what they were angling for but my recommendation is to cover your tracks if you rent this home! They turned a fabulous family vacation into a very stressful end for no apparent reason. I have been a customer of VRBO for many years with no previous negative comments.

Had a great time here. House was clean and supplied all of the essentials. Jackie was great to work with and answered any questions I had. The location was perfect for us being within 2 blocks from lake gogebic for kayaking and the orv trails. (The dollar general is a great addition too!) A short drive to porcupine mountains, adventure mine and bond falls. Thanks for everything we will be back!

A nice place to stay with family / friends. A nice dining / kitchen area. Beds were comfortable. Location was great with trails only a couple blocks away. Gas station right down the street. Only a few blocks from the lake. Look forward to staying here again!

Great location for snowmobiling

This was the second time we've stayed at the home and really appreciate the location. Great heated garage for parking snowmobiles overnight. Communication before our stay was excellent! Jackie the property manager was fantastic, checking in with us to make sure all was alright. Awesome fluffy towels! Nice full kitchen. Thank you!

Great snowmobile location

Perfect place for a group to stay while snowmobiling around Bergland. Easily made it to Houghton and around lake Gogebic .

Family Snowmobile Adventure Jan 2025

Our main objective was to have a base camp for a family snowmobiling event in the UP. This property served our needs very well. Great location, close to trail, food and fuel. Plenty of parking for vehicles with trailers. We had four trucks with enclosed trailers and we had plenty of room. The heated garage was such a nice feature. At night we backed our sleds into the garage and it was so nice to be able to access our sleds in a heated space to get ready for the next day. Bedrooms were comfortable and the towels supplied were high quality which you do not see often in a rental. Very comfortable for our group of seven people. Would definitely stay again.

Snowmobile Trip

This was a great place to stay! Very clean and plenty of room. We had six guys in our group and it worked out great. We came with two trucks and trailers and had plenty of room. Being able to use the garage was a great touch. This place is also close the everything offered in Bergland. To top it off, the property manager reached out in advance to make sure we didn’t have any questions and were familiar with the area! Top notch customer service! Highly recommended!

2024 snowmobile trip.

We have stayed at this house four or five times for our couples snowmobile trip. This place is great for eight people it is very close to restaurants and gas and it has plenty of parking. Mother nature did not cooperate with us for this trip but we still had a good time patronizing the local establishments.

Great place and location

The house was perfect for our group of 7. The heated garage for the sleds was perfect at night to thaw them out and ready for the morning. Location was great. 3 blocks to the trail, lake access and Mobil gas station. Property manager was great with explaining everything with a phone call the week prior.

Great place!

We really liked the heated garage as we had snowmobile trouble and we were able to utilize this! House is very nice and cozy and a great location (2 blocks from trail)! Owns were great to work with and communicate with. Caretaker is awesome!!

Snowball Cancer V500

We chose this location for our stay to keep our group together and for the close proximity to the starting location of the V500. The garage to park our sled in overnight was a huge plus!

Beautiful home

Our family stayed here for 3 days while we attended a family reunion. The home was very clean. Caretaker Jackie was friendly and we highly recommend this property. The huge garage was a hit! We will be back

Perfect place

Everything was perfect, we hope to bring kids (adults) back next time. Started out as a family vacation until Covid got a few of the group so ended up just husband and I. The location,cleanliness was outstanding! We did lots of hiking/waterfalls didn’t get to everything but we will return. Thanks for sharing your place!

Brian has been traveling to the UP since he was a kid riding snowmobiles. This area has always been his preference when booking his annual and Birthday snowmobile trips. Almost daily he would dream of owning his own place in the UP and would spend hours looking at houses for sale and had even walked through a few other properties. One day he came across this house and instantly wanted to go look at it. We made the trip from Illinois to look at the house and while Michelle was hesitant Brian within hours had convinced her this would be the perfect house to buy. We have already made so many memories in this house and still have many more to come. We hope everyone that stays here makes their own special memories.

We chose this property due to the location to the snowmobile trails as that was our main reason for buying a house in the UP. The house is close to the trails, Lake Gogebic and is "in the town" of Bergland. Every where we go we meet someone that has owned, lived or knows this house and we wouldn't have it any other way! The locals are the best and this small town is exactly what we love about it!
