Recently renovated and tastefully decorated, this property is simply superb! It offers a comfortable place to relax and soak up the beautiful view on holidays whilst here in Mallacoota!
Nestled on Karbeethong hill amongst the trees, guests are invited to sit on the deck and enjoy the stunning view of the lake but also the myriad of birds and wildlife that frequent the area.
Located close to Croajingalong National park, walking tracks, boat hire and Karbeethong jetty, it is the perfect choice for the avid explorer or fisherperson!
Bathroom with shower and separate toilet. There is a laundry with washing machine and extra fridge.
Sleeps 6 guests, with one queen sized bed in the main bedroom and then the second bedroom containing another queen bed and two single beds in the form of bunks.
Pet friendly - small dogs only. Please be courteous to other guests and keep your pets off the furniture. This property is not fenced at all so please also be aware of this.

Linen will be provided; however, guests will be required to bring their own towels.
additional $100 cleaning fee will apply to all bookings

We stayed in this house in 2020 during bush fire and fall in love with Mallacoota. House has been renovated with grate taste and love. Views from the lounge room, bedroom and balcony are breathtaking. Beds are very comfortable. Our friends came to Mallacoota first time and fall in love with it starting with house and views from it. Many thanks to owners to make our time in Mallacoota so pleasant

Cute cottage great morning balcony view

Cute cottage, cosy but has essentials and large living/kitchen/dining, all in one room. Great area for outdoor activities, short drive into town. Best suit family with simple needs. Easy check-in, information process.

Love the water views from this house. Lovely clean updated interior. Close to lakeside drive and the bike and walking track. We had a wonderful short stay. Thankyou.

What a delight!

The view is simply glorious! The house was lovely and the environment quiet and tucked away. We totally loved everything and the managers were lovely to deal with. We will be back with our paddleboards!

Feeling recharged

Such a lovely property to stay at. The house was easy to live in for a few days, the beds were comfortable, the kicthen well stocked so we could happily cook meals in it and the view was devine. Waking up with a coffee on the deck is one of my favourite memories of our holiday

Wildlife Paradise

Mallacoota is out go to holiday destination for wildlife and nature. This premises overlooks the lower lake and has wonderful views and wildlife visitors such as lyrebirds, king parrots, bowerbirds and kangaroos.The house is well appointed with a great kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable, and for those wet days a largescreen smart TV.We have booked here 4 times and are never disappointed.and plenty of local visitors such as

Gem with stunning lake views

Super relaxing, quiet location, breath taking views over the lake,well equipped property, clean and very comfortable. It is not a five star luxury but a perfect holiday home. Agency was very accomodating and easy to communicate with. Many thanks for rescuing our holiday and sanity.

Amazing!!

Perfect for our fishing trip. Short drive to the boat ramp. Everything in the house we needed. Great deck with a stunning view of the lake and a comfy lounge, bbq and table. We will definitely be back ;)

Lovely stay

Overall we had a great stay. Lovely quiet home with awesome views.Beds comfy with modern kitchen stocked with some basic condiments. Bathroom could do with a renovation and wardrobe doors still require fixing. Worth noting that there are no fences on the property or doggie door if you bring a dog with you. Very happy with the host who also posted our pillow back to us. Much thanks for that ! We hope to stay at your home again in the future.

Relax and enjoy the views

Comfortable living, with soft beds. Views are great from inside the home or the balcony. Room for kids to play downstairs. Will be looking forward to returning for another stay. However, Ongoing maintenance needs to be done on main bedroom sliding door and all wardrobe doors to make stay hassle free. Recommend to couples or families with school aged children. Bring native bird seed to enjoy feathered visitors.

Oh! The Serenity!

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful property, and it will be our annual "Mallacoota go-to" property into the future. Wonderful views of the Lower Lake and Narrows. Nicely appointed kitchen and comfortable living area. As a lover of wildlife this place is great with heaps of bird species, including lyrebirds inhabiting the property. It's a short distance to where we launch our boat at Karbeethong Jetty too. Absolutely love the large screen TV where we can screen our media in the evenings after days out walking and exploring. Love it!

Great property with beautiful views of the lake

This was one of the best places we have stayed at Mallacoota over twenty years. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed, smart TV for us to stream our programs and one of the best views of Mallacoota you can get. The property featured a veranda with a BBQ and comfortable seating to allow us to chill and take in the atmosphere. I recorded over 30 species of birds in and around the property just from the verandah, including Lewin's Honeyeaters, Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos and Golden Whistlers. And there were two koalas in a tree next door. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be booking for next year as well.

Amazing property

The property was good but it was very hot in tge bedrooms with no fans...atleast pedestal fans should be provided....No tea coffee or sugar was available. The decking shoukd be fixed cause nails are coming off and it could be hazardous.

Excellent - except for vehicle access. Our ford falcon bottomed out over steep gutter. Had to park on service road and carry our stuff down steep driveway. Service road was used by neighbours also providing a nuisance to all.

What stands out most about this house is the gorgeous views from the balcony and one of the bedrooms. Stunning. The living area and kitchen have been updated and are very comfortable. Although we felt the house wasn’t particularly clean. The kitchen table was sticky and the drawers (in the kitchen) were full of crumbs. The ice in the freezer must have been very old. I used some and it was horrid. The beds are ok. The cupboards in the bedrooms are terrible! The sliding doors aren’t on the tracks and there’s no rod inside to easily hang clothes on. They appear to have been crudely made. The bathroom needs an update. It also didn’t feel clean. There was rust around the taps. No fan - so fills with steam. Note that the walls in the house are so thin you can hear absolutely everything when you go to bed (if someone else is moving about). We were only there for 3 nights and appreciated the peacefulness of the area and all the wildlife. Handy to have the bbq (although we had to scrub it clean before using it, it was very dirty). We cooked there two nights. It’s about 7 mins drive to the small town. Highly recommend Scallywags for dinner. Must book. We enjoyed our stay but I can’t give it 5 stars. We pay to have it cleaned so it’s disappointing it wasn’t perfectly clean for us. Stay for the views.

Sensationelle Terrasse zum See

Das Haus in Mallacoota besticht mit einer traumhaften Terrasse über dem See! Hier kann man grillen, essen, lesen oder die Seele baumeln lassen! Wir haben das sehr genossen! Im Haus findet man alles, was man braucht. Der Küchen- und Wohnbereich ist sehr neu, Bad, Toilette und Schlafräume ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, was auch für die Sitzmöbel auf der Terrasse gilt! Im Schlafzimmer lässt sich die Schiebetür nicht mehr bewegen... bei den Temperaturen unseres Aufenthaltes kein Problem, da es warm genug war. Mit diesen paar Renovierungen wäre die Unterkunft nicht nur super, sondern top!
