8th Floor, Direct Ocean View - 1 Bedroom Suite With Full Kitchen

Oceanfront condo, Remodeled kitchen, stainless appliances, and bathroom. upgraded furniture throughout. Traver-tine stone floors in living room and carpeting in the bedroom. Large flat screen TV in both the living room and bedroom with cable, DVD, & stereo. Beautiful lanai furniture to sit and enjoy view of ocean and sunsets with cocktails. Air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom.

Panoramic ocean views from every room, including views of diamond head and the city lights of Honolulu from living room, kitchen and bedroom. Lanai looks directly over pacific ocean. Hear the ocean surf at night. Sandy beach next door, with stairs leading to swimming area at high tide. Snorkeling in front of property along with grassy area to sit and enjoy the sun.

The condo is on the 8th floor, direct oceanfront.

'credit card payment or coin-op' operated laundry room located in the basement of the building.

** Paid Onsite Parking must be requested at the time of booking, or well in advance of arrival - there is no guarantee of onsite parking without written confirmation from management company. The garage will only accommodate standard and mid-size cars, sorry no SUV's or pickup trucks ** Other parking options include - free along Kalakaua Avenue and metered on the Kapiolani Park side, please read all signs carefully. Metered parking is $0.50 per hour from the hours of 10 am to 6pm with free parking from 6pm to 10am. Parking is always tight during parades, festivals and events at Kapiolani Park, please be aware and plan accordingly.

Perfect view of the water. Amazing on site manager Patrick who makes you feel so welcome. Out of the way from the busiest part of the beach but close enough to walk. A couple of great restaurants just steps away.

Great Location

Near the hustle and bustle of Waikīkī but not in the middle of it. Beautiful lanai to enjoy the ocean view and peak around the corner to Diamondhead!

We were very pleasantly surprised with the new, comfortable furniture on the lanai.It was too bad that much of the kitchenware needed to be cleaned before we could use it, but maybe that's typical nowadays.

Great location

We enjoyed the property for our 3 day visit. It is located in a great area with an easy walk to Waikiki but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and nearby park. The management company was very responsive when we had an issue accessing the property. The building is a bit older and dated and could use a few repairs but it was a great location to stay for a few days.

Quiet area with beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Unit was clean. We took advantage of the on site parking for an extra fee. We contacted the manager in regards to one concern and he responded quickly. We would stay here again.

Beautiful view from all directions!

So here are the positives: - extraordinary views from windows and lanai. The pictures understate the views. - great location, separate from the cacophony of Waikiki but an easy, safe, short walk to everything - bed was comfortable and bedroom cooled well - parking arrangement thru prop manager was ideal, make sure and pre arrange parking. And then the issues: condo building is from the 60s, still nice but tired. condo unit is years past last renovation and shows it. Worn carpet, walls, furniture and in need of an investment. toilet is not super functional. Flushes sometimes with effort. wall AC units work hard to cool den. Blinds closed made the difference but was warm first day. All in all, we would definitely stay again in this area, and if there was some modest maintenance and updating would love to stay in this unit again.

Amazing stay

Spent 4 days on Oahu, and this condo was amazing. Great views of the ocean from the balcony were a great day to start and end each day. Modern interior, with very comfortable bed and great location, as we were in walking distance to Waikiki Beach, and a quick drive to our hike at Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, etc... Would highly recommend this spot. Host was great with communication.

Amazing location

I have stayed in this building in many different units and they never disappoint. This unit was very comfortable but it could stand a little TLC with some fresh paint and a few updates. Still a fabulous unit to stay in.

Peak relaxation

Diamond Head Beach Hotel is out of the Waikiki crowds but close enough for delightful walks to all points if interest. This unit, on the 8th floor, has marvelous relaxing views of the surf and mountains. The management is very responsive to all requests. A great place!

Paradise with a view

This condo is delightful - open and airy with a lanai perched over the ocean. We loved it's location. a brisk walk from strip Waikiki strip and strolling distance to a sweet beach by the Outrigger Canoe Cub. Inside, the furnishings were nice and the on-site team responsive and helpful. We will be back. Thank you for a great time!

Great location and views!

Location was fantastic. You’re still close to Waikiki but far enough away to avoid the crowds and loud noises. The view from the lanai is amazing and so relaxing. I suggest paying for parking rather than parking on the street. It’s worth the money. The host was very attentive and was easy to communicate with. My only suggestion for the owner is to update the condo. For example, the carpet in the bedroom is old and stained, the kitchen handles are rusting, and the door to the lanai can’t be closed all the way when you’re outside otherwise you could be locked out. I’d definitely stay again but, considering how much is paid per night, a little investment in updates is a reasonable suggestion.

Perfect location near Elks and The Outrigger

This unit is nicely updated and furnished. Beautiful views from multiple windows and the ocean front lanai is the perfect venue for your morning coffee or happy hour Mai Tai. We hope to stay here again.

Great location in quiet part of Waikiki Beach !

This is a great location in Waikiki Beach area.... quiet but very convenient to everything... there is no immediate beach access but its just a short walk to the beach...across the street from a huge park (Kapiolani Park)...This unit is very comfortable with a fantastic view from the backside lanai...although the property is a bit dated with only window units for AC but wasn't a real issue during the day because you can get a great breeze with the windows open... during the night was a bit less convenient with the noise of the window unit for comfort. Overall a very reasonable location and price point. Also great communication with the property manager. Also, if driving a car I would recommend the condo parking if avaiable very convenient.

Location is great, but....

The location is beautiful and quiet, but the stay was not as expected. Clearly a second thought for living needs by the property management or owner. Our toilet, the only one in the VRBO began leaking from internal components one day. Although the communication to get the situation in process for a fix was relatively easy, the idea that cleaning supplies and the expectation of me to clean the issue is not at all my role in the stay. Upon dropping off the cleaning supplies, the property management adjusted the toilet to the point it would no longer flush, and it wasn't until the afternoon of the next day that the issue was resolved. This led to further frustration with small items that had not been dealt with. The single teflon frying pan was badly scarred and not usable, the toaster had elements lose that would absolutely burn one piece of toast long before the other was done, and the doors were very hard to operate. Obviously a lack of attention to detail in the smaller items. But to put the expectation of cleaning up a leaking toilet for 24 hours is the reason I will never return.

Romantic getaway

This condo is away from the Waikiki crowd but close enough to walk and enjoy the area. Layout of the condo is very spacious with spectacular views. Kitchen has everything you need if you don’t want to eat out every meal. Couch and bed are super comfy. Sunset is absolutely gorgeous from the lanai. Very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely want to come back here and stay! Definitely recommend purchasing the parking pass for the basement!
