Escape to the quaint village of Port Stanley with one of the finest sandy beaches of Lake Erie! Our inviting lake house is an ideal couple or family get away surrounded by nature. Stroll to the sun-drenched beach, watch magnificent sunsets or stargaze from our jacuzzi in the beautifully landscaped tranquil backyard.

Our four season lake house is stylish, spacious and inviting in a quiet neighborhood well equipped for cooking and entertainment. Your belongings are safe in the double indoor garage.

The village of Port Stanley is known for superb restaurants, cafes, wonderful boutiques and antique shops. There is even a theatre for entertainment and a railway station for a fun train ride. Nature reserve with hiking trails and a marsh with boardwalks provide amazing scenery. In the winter enjoy an epic toboggan run, winter hikes, gourmet restaurant dinners and of course our relaxing hot tub!

The Port Stanley beach earned a prestigious Blue Flag status recognizing the hard work of the community to promote swimmable, drinkable and fishable water. Enjoy swimming and water sports in the warmest water of the Great Lakes or beach volleyball. The sunsets are truly majestic and glowing here!

We sincerely hope that you will enjoy our little piece of heaven as much as we do and discover the beautiful shores of Lake Erie! We have spent many great moments here since we discovered this picturesque spot and now we are ready to share it with you!

Lake House

This home matched the description. A nice, clean, and cozy home. It was light and airy and had great amenities. The welcoming snacks was a lovely touch and appreciated! Great location

Beautiful cozy lake house. Very nice outdoor sitting areas with comfortable chairs and an an awning if shade is needed. Home backs onto a wooded area so private. Each bedroom has a bathroom that is private. Kitchen appliances good quality - drip coffee maker and Nespresso available ( bring your capsules! Close to walk to town. Great place. Hostess very responsive.

Roomy, clean, long walk to beach

There are many attractive features; roomy interior, gorgeous garden and backs into a forested hill with lots of privacy. There were some concerns that tarnished our stay. The front step…a poured concrete two step piece was wobbly, and felt insecure at times. The front door would benefit from a screen door. The steps into the garage from the kitchen need a handrail for safety. They are steep and need a handrail. The garage door is very noisy. For a high end “cottage” with so many amenities, the toaster did not work, there was barely enough table dinnerware and cutlery. There were lots of cooking utensils, and sufficient pots and pans…the dishwasher was a bonus! Sufficient towels, but no facecloths. No door on the master bathroom…an accordion type door would suffice. Although pets allowed, we were requested shortly after arrival that the dog should not be allowed in the back yard.

Family getaway Port Stanley

The home was beautiful! It had everything we needed and our host was very accessible and accommodating. The home is located in a great area with easy access to everything Port Stanley has to offer. We had a great time exploring the area and spending time as a family.

Perfect little vacation

Great place in Port Stanley

We went for a three night stay as our friends moved to Port Stanley last summer. The place was as advertised with everything you’d want. Communication was easy as was check in process and my kids enjoyed the treats left for us. Everything was a 1km walk from the house and that meant we could park our vehicle and enjoy our time at the beach.

Hidden gem

A group of five girlfriends rented this spot for a girls getaway, we had such a wonderful time and we’re so happy with the space! Andrea was super responsive to any questions/concerns we had. It was close enough to walk to the beach (would’ve been probably 10-15 minutes), but we opted to drive it instead because we had so much stuff. Would recommend to anyone else looking for a nice getaway!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The place is exactly as pictured: - 10 minute walk to the beach - Walking to distance to restaurants and shops - Jacuzzi is fantastic We loved Andrea's welcoming snacks and wine. Kids enjoyed the basement. Would love to stay again!

an amazing getaway in a beautiful spot!

we had booked at another cottage and the day before we were scheduled to leave they had a flood and our trip was cancelled just like that. we acted fast and tried to salvage our vacation swiftly looking for another option. we came across this gem in port stanley and boy we are so happy we did. the place was as nice as it looked online, andrea was super quick at responding to my panicked request to book the day before we wanted to go and she was super communicative and let me know all the details to make our stay enjoyable. it was my family (hubby and me and our 7 year old son) and my longtime high school friend and her fam (hubby and son - 6). the kids loved the place too and the beach (so nice + sandy) and main attractions were so close - within walking distance. there was a hot tub too which was fun and lots of space to cook and have some nice meals. the place was clean, very open, so super cute and felt like home - even for just 4 nights :) we didn't want to leave. i keep thinking of coming back already with my fam and some other friends. we would def be back (hopefully sooner than later). if you have never been to port stanley go check out this amazing place! thanks to andrea again for saving the day (and our vacation) and allowing us in your beautiful home - till next time. xo, leslie, richard + clark :)

Great time at this cottage!

Cottage is very spacious and modern. Andrea was very easy to communicate with and it was very clean when we got there. Great location as well. We would stay here again.

Port House

We really enjoyed the house very clean and enjoyable,the host was amazing . It was in walking distance from the attractions in Port Stanley. We’ll come back for sure on our next trip to sport Port Stanley.

Loved the house it was very cozy. Also loved the snacks! Lost a few brownie points with my husband as it was masters weekend and there wasn’t a way for him to watch on tv. Everything else was great!!!

Lovely stay

Andrea the owner was wonderful, very informative and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here! The house is so clean and bright. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was amazing. Hope to book back with her this summer 😊

We are an active couple with 3 grown kids who accidentally discovered this hidden treasure and fell in love with the lake and village. We are avid travelers but often return to our favorite spot to relax and enjoy the beach.
