Great property, fantastic location perfect for our needs (two families with kids). Helps that the pond is fenced, great BBQ deck, log fire, lots of space to play/explore. Expect that we'll be back!

Really great break with overseas family and beloved dog!Place was amazing, much better than the photos. Really relaxing and despite the wet weather, very much enjoyed by all.Thank you Kookaburra Retreat, we hope to be back again soon.

We loved our stay. Communication with the host was excellent. The house itself was so lovely and peaceful with comfortable beds. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was great too. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, clean, great location and it was perfect for staying with family when our daughter was getting married. Everything supplied, especially loved the wood fire. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Extremely convenient location and the surroundings were very enjoyable.

Communication with the owners was very good and they were accomodating for any requests made. I look forward to staying there again.

Great Place to stay in Margaret River!

A well appointed large 4 bedroom 3 home. A great location, a short distance from the town and amongst some of the best wineries Margaret River has to offer. We had a great stay. All round a highly recommended property.

Quiet hideaway close to town centre

Our stay was very enjoyable overall, despite the hiccup of a power cut during the first hour we’re there. The house was well appointed and very comfortable, and nice and secluded, but still within a 10 minute drive of Margaret River.

Better than advertised

Group of friends stayed at the property. Very clean and beautiful property. Away from the hustle and bustle of City/town. 3 bathrooms made the stay seemless. Really good location, close to wineries and Margaret River Town.

Great property. So much space, really well set up with everything you could need. Great location-v close to margs but feels like the countryside. Only sorry we didn’t stay longer.

MidWeek Escape

From Kookaburra wake ups to evening skippy sips of wine, we were immersed by beautiful natural company. The house was well stocked for cooking (gorgeous oven and stove) and had a unique layout that felt homely and private. .

Relaxing Forrest Retreat

Great location for exploring Margaret River region. Surrounded by beautiful bush and clise to wonderful Redgate Winery! Plenty of space, the kids loved the character and the games room. Generously stocked for any forgotten essentials. Thank you.

Amazing property, beautiful location

Loved our stay here. The house was spacious and well equipped. There was an issue with the washing machine on day three but it was promptly replaced with a brand new one. Saw possums and kangaroos in the evening whilst sitting outside relaxing on the verandah. We will definitely be back at this fabulous property.

Kookaburra Lodge

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Kookaburra Lodge! We took our fur baby as well and she loved it! Lots of room for her to run. The house contained everything you would ever need and was clean and comfortable! Lovely secluded spot with ducks and ducklings on the pond and the odd kangaroo popping over to check us out! Highly recommended!

Bushland Retreat

We loved staying at the Kookaburra! Nestled in the bush just out of MargaretRiver. It was so good for our 2 and half year old and our dog to play and run around. Has a secure fence around the property.Loved sitting on the verandah watching the kangaroos at Dusk! And there were flood lights shining up the Trees at night which was amazing!! Definitely will book again!
