This was a nice house for my family to stay in while we explored the Rangeley area for a week. The big yard was well maintained and a great area for the kids to play. The firepit area was nice. It felt secluded, but still an easy drive to town, trails, and lakes. Quimby pond provided a lovely and serene view. We loved our downtime sitting on the deck and reading.

Amazing stay

Not only was the property beautiful on its own but the caretakers and office personnel were on top of all the details! Everything was well laid out, every item were might have needed was available, every question we asked was answered quickly and kindly, and we plan to make it an annual stay! We loved it!

We all loved both the house and the setting. Having use of the kayaks was terrific. Kitchen very well equipped and everything was sparkling clean. The view was the very best of all!!

Serendipity

Lovely and restful waterfront cottage. Very well supplied with everything you meed for cooking. Big outdoor space for lawn games and two kayaks and a canoe to enjoy the peaceful pond. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Tranquility

The place is amazing: incredible view of the lake and mountains from the house, steps to the lake to take a swim or a ride in kayaks, lots of space for dogs to run... Couldn't be more happy. We had a group of 8 - three generations of our family - and everybody was very happy with the settings and arrangements, and if you know young adults - that's a rarity. Very relaxing vacation!

Serendipity

I had such an amazing time at serendipity! The house was perfect the perfect location and size. The house was clean and super cozy. I think the only real feedback I have is the lock on the door it was very difficult to use and would beep and click randomly. Aside from the lock I had an amazing stay and would stay there again!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a great and restful time at Serendipity, and our 2 pups enjoyed it too! It was very peaceful and private with very few neighbors. From canoeing on peaceful Quincy Pond to nighttime fires and loon calls and bald eagle singings…we enjoyed it all! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cookware and dishes as well as some basic cooking staples (oils, spices). The master bed was very comfortable, and my 6’2” tall husband appreciated the California king mattress length. We will surely be back!

A wonderful weekend!

Friends and family gathered here to watch the eclipse last week, and it couldn’t have been more lovely. The home is clean and comfortable, the rooms just as described, and the setting is beautiful! There are a few cabins nearby, but we didn’t see anyone even for this popular weekend. It was quiet and lovely and had plenty of room for people to be together in the living room and spread out outside, look at the stars over the pond and chat around the firepit. The kitchen was well stocked, there were board games available, and the property managers were responsive and helpful. We all loved it here!

Peaceful getaway

Our trip to Rangeley Maine was amazing. The house was in the perfect location to do and see many things without going far. Quimby pond was beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and fun with all sorts of ducks. The Loon calls were the best. The house was clean and well stocked with cooking needs. Everything worked well. A few minor things need repaired like some outlet coverings need tightened, light fixture in downstairs bath needs reset, door locks needs new batteries. We were unable to even open the basement door but this did not hinder our stay. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Would definitely return again.

Serendipity, a serendipitous find.

I'm sure that anyone who searches for a vacation spot from afar always worries if what you see over a computer screen will meet expectations, Serendipity exceeded them and dismissed any concerns from the minute we got out of the car, and only got better upon entering the house. This was a home run that turned into a grand slam as the week progressed. The house had every possible amenity you need. It's not a high end over the top house, but perfectly suited for everyday folks who love Maine and cherish each day you're there. The location is absolutely perfect. It's quiet, located on a no engine pond ( a non-negotiable must ) with a 35 yard walk to the dock. We enjoyed each sunset with loons calling across the pond. The proximity to Oquossoc Village in 5 mins is terrific. The museum is filled with an abundance of historical artifacts and information about Rangeley, the Oquossoc Store (great for lunch, burgers) is reasonably priced and has great service, along with the Farmers Daughter. It didn't seem possible a short drive back would take us to the peaceful Serendipity. The many hiking trails are close, downtown Rangeley is 10 mins away, it's an overall great location. The team of knowledgeable and responsive rental agents helped me find exactly what I was looking for. They listened carefully, and if they weren't 100% sure about a question, they consulted a colleague for an accurate answer. Morton & Furbish really get customer service and the service experience. Our well behaved dog was in heaven. I wholeheartedly recommend Serendipity for your trip to Rangeley.
