This 2 master bed 2 bath condo has a nice view of the beautiful Desert Princess Golf Course while tucked back enough to avoid golf balls. Each bedroom has a CalKing size comfy bed. It is also just steps to the pool and spa. Sit on the patio and enjoy the view! Comfy sofas and oversized chair make this a very comfortable get away. Bright and light this condo could be just what you are looking for in the desert lifestyle. It is less than ten minutes from Palm Springs International Airport. It is close to everything in Palm Springs that is fun! Restaurants, shopping, casinos, street fair, museum and Tramway.

Other information:
If you are into fresh air and beautiful natural scenery, then the desert is for you. With mountain views in the backdrop, you will be sitting on the patio relaxing and overlooking a lush green golf course, with fountains of water in the course lake. If you are also in to keeping in shape, the Desert Princess Country Club and Resort is the place for you. Besides the golf, you can also bike ride inside the resorts guarded complex. There are also Class-A tennis courts, a pickle-ball court, racquetball courts, many swimming and lap pools, and a top-notch expansive fitness and weights facility. For hiking, head out to the many hiking trails that start in the local mountain foothills. You can also ride the Tram up to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains. The aerial tram travels two and one half miles up the mountain to a pristine wilderness aboard the Worldā€™s Largest Rotating Tramcars. From there the hiking is endless. After all of the fitness activities, head to the spa for some pampering.

For entertainment, the casinos are right downtown about 7 miles away. In Palm Springs the Annenberg Theater presents some of the finest performers from the world of music, drama, comedy, opera, and dance.

The Community of Desert Princess & HOA Rules and Regulations...

Have a nice time, but please have respect for the other neighbors of the Desert Princess. Some are permanent residents, and this is their home. Keep the noise level reasonable, and especially at night. Also please keep the back area clear of the games and other personal items after you are finished with them.

There is growing momentum in the Coachella Valley, and in Cathedral City, to impose restrictions on Short Term Vacation Rentals (STVR), and my unit falls into this category. In my experience with the rental of my unit, I have been very fortunate to have responsible tenants and have not had any complaints, but I also need to share the following information. Any fees & fines that are imposed will be the responsibility of the renting tenant.

With these new restrictions comes some new rules to follow:

1. All guests must receive and review the document ā€œDesert Princess Palm Springs Governing Documentsā€. As part of the rental agreement you must acknowledge you have reviewed the document and agree to these terms.

2. A $200 service fee shall be instituted for rental properties where the Desert Princess Patrol Services find it necessary to call Cathedral City Police or STVR Hotline to respond to a noise problem. This fee will be the responsibility of the tenant.

3. There is a strict occupancy limit of 4 persons for overnight stays and 4 persons for non-overnight stays.

4. There is a color-coded vehicle pass system for vehicles.

5. People in the area are extremely sensitive to noise. Occupants shall respect the neighbors' privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property.

6. No outdoor music shall be used outside at any time. Music played from the inside of the STVR shall not be heard beyond the property line of the STVR at all times.

7. Use of outdoor amenities/activities that create noise is prohibited from 10 PM to 8 AM.

8. As a part of the rental agreement, the following must be provided to the HOA prior to occupancy:
a. Main tenant:
i. Name
ii. Address
iii. Phone number
iv. A valid government ID and Number. (e.g. Drivers License
number)
b. Names of all occupants.
c. Identity of all vehicles in the renting party. This will be submitted to
the patrol services.
i. Vehicle make/model.
ii. License plate number.

A maximum of 2 vehicles for this unit is allowed.

Great Long Weekend

This was the perfect place for us. Our favorite spot was the back patio enjoying the weather and watching the golfers. We had some very high winds which drove us inside, but the sofas were comfy as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and both bedrooms and both baths were spacious. The Desert Princess property is beautiful and the location is about 15-20 minutes to downtown Palm Springs. We were able to easily and quickly get anywhere we wanted to go. Bill was quick to respond and was great to work with. If you are looking for a designer decorated property with high end appliances, you will be disappointed. But if you want a comfortable stay with everything you need in a great location, look no further.

Quick 4 day weekend escape

Wanted a quick getaway for a long holiday weekend where we could enjoy the desert and the pools, and this place fit our needs. We were there during a period of extremely high winds and as such a lot of fine desert dust found its way in (unavoidable) and a lot of the pools were quite dirty, but I donā€™t hold any of that against the property owner. Would rent here again.

Top Notch and Hassle-Free Accommodation

Our 4 night stay had so much going for it: a clean, nicely laid out spacious unit, and in a great location convenient to lots of activities in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert/Cathedral City area. We especially appreciated the fact that the bed and pillows were just right to give us a great nightā€™s sleep after our 9 hour drive. The proximity of one of the many pools and hot tubs was a real plus, located just a brief walk out from the back patio. We would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for care free comfort on a beautiful golf course.

Great little gem and close to everything

We loved our stay, and can't say enough nice things about both Bill (the owner) and the property. This property is a great value across the board, from cost to central location, to ease and convenience. The condo was very clean, comfortable, homey and one of those places that is instantly familiar when you walk in, like a good friend's house or the home you grew up in. We walked in, unpacked, felt like we were home and never felt like we couldn't touch anything. This is not a fancy showcase home, it's a real home for real people looking for low stress and an easy getaway The patio is right on the golf course, and there was something really easy and comfortable about being on the greenbelt. Our dog loved laying in the grass right off the patio and it makes the unit feel much bigger than it already is. The Desert Princess is an exceptional residential resort community, and there are more than 30 small semi-private pools throughout the complex that serve each of the clusters of homes. "Our" pool was about 50 feet away and we had it to ourselves for most of the trip, but also met some great residents one afternoon who wound up taking us for a tour in their golf cart and out for drinks. Finally, I want to recognize the owner, Bill. He was very responsive, super easy to work with and made sure that we were well taken care of. We had a lot of great conversations and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him on any of his properties.

The property is fantastic, right on the 5th hole of the lagos course at the Desert Princess Resort. Beautiful view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the place is stocked with everything you need. The owner Bill was super accommodating and got back to me quickly anytime I had a question. 3 great 9 hole golf courses on property, the clubhouse was nice to grab a bite and a drink after our round. The pool and hot tub are right next to you and we had them to ourselves the entire week. Lots of movies and books to choose from, cornhole and bocce ball. Many other golf courses nearby, casinos close by too. We had a fantastic time at Bill's condo.

Bill was easy to communicate with, .checking in and checking out was simple too. We felt like we had a private pool and Jacuzzi as no one else was there. We liked the lay out of two master suites on opposite wings of the house. We would go back as it was quiet and peaceful.

Loved staying in a country club!

Loved walking out of the condo every morning and feeling the grass under my toes in the sun. The pool is 50 feet away. The tennis facility and the morning clinics were great. It was also fun to eat at the clubhouse!

Very Outdated and in need of a good cleaning

We were very disappointed, the condo was very outdated, many cobwebs, and needed a good cleaning. I wonder if there is a towel shortage in Cathedral City,? We had only one bath towel for each bathroom and one kitchen towel. The kitchen range and microwave are in need of an upgrade, the dials are so worn you cannot read them. On the other hand, the outside is beautiful and the the golf course is great.
