Ideal Mandurah canal holiday location for couples, friends or family getaways, Canal Vista is located on the Halls Head canals, 5 minutes to the beaches or a short walk into town.

Highly recommended for a romantic weekend or getaway with the family. It’s just five minutes from the beach, close to restaurants, but also far enough away to completely relax overlooking the water.

Our accommodation is stylish, clean, perfectly equipped in all rooms for maximum comfort, and the view from the deck overlooking the canals is all you need to relax and enjoy time out.

You can dock your boat (up to 7.5m) on the private jetty and enjoy all Mandurah has to offer.

If you are looking for a quick weekend or mid-week getaway then don’t look further. This is the place. A must choice if staying in Mandurah. So convenient to everything you need, within walking distance to IGA, bakery, bottle shop, foreshore and so much more.

If you need more space, our sister property next door sleeps nine and can also be booked through Stayz. Makes it great for larger families or groups of friends.

** Accommodation features **

Canal Vista offer the amenities of a hotel combined with the conveniences of home. We are fully self-contained and feature a fully equipped kitchen, plus laundry facilities.

As you would expect of first-class accommodation, all bedrooms are complete with quality Sheridan linen, bedding and Sheridan towels.

Our home boasts an expansive open plan living area with spacious lounge and dining. We have a 70 inch smart HD TV with Netflix and NBN Wifi.

Offering accommodation for up to eight guests, our home features two generous king-sized bedroom suites, each with access to separate bathrooms.

Canal Vista is a three bedroom, two bathroom home located on Mandurah’s beautiful canals.

The canal facing king-sized master suite features an ensuite with a shower, while the other king-sized master suite has access to the second bathroom.

Our expansive main deck features a large outdoor dining table and barbeque plus relaxing outdoor sofas to make the most of stunning canal views and our famous Western Australian sunrises and sunsets.

The third bedroom has two sets of bunks, sleeping up to four adults or children.

If you have more than 8, please let us know as we have a second property next door that sleeps an additional nine.

** Outdoor living at Canal Vista**

We have our own private jetty so you can bring your boat to enjoy the spectacular Mandurah waterways.

Canal Vista also offer kayaks and crab nets.

Bring your fishing gear and your perfect outdoor adventure awaits, right from your own jetty. Our jetty will accommodate boats up to 6m.

If you don’t have a boat, you can hire one from Mandurah Boat and Bike Hire on the foreshore.

** Mandurah **

Mandurah is Western Australia’s largest regional city and less than an hour from Perth.

It is set against a backdrop of magnificent beaches and an estuary twice the size of Sydney Harbour. Originally known as Mandjoogoordap, Mandurah means ‘meeting place of the heart’.

Locals and tourists enjoy the waterways, beaches and much more.

Watch out, you will fall in love with the place.

There is so much to see and do in Mandurah.

It is most well-known as the ultimate outdoor water playground, but it’s also a dream for those with creative passions with wonderful local galleries and artistry on show.

And let’s not forget that Mandurah is easily satisfying even the biggest foodies – the Mandurah region is rich in local culinary talent and fresh produce.

Adaptors

Adaptors for international electrical appliances are available to use during your stay. Please note that in Australia we have 240V power.

Babies and infants

We have a portacot with sheets, a high chair and a baby bath to help minimise what you need to pack from home. All you will need to bring is baby’s blanket, pillow and favourite toy.

BBQ

The BBQ is an absolute winner to cook on, especially on those summer nights. We ask that you leave the BBQ clean or our cleaner will charge an extra fee which we will have to on-charge back to you.

Beach towels

You will find a basket of beach towels in the laundry for you to use.

Boats and Trailer parking

7.5m boats can be tied up to our jetty.

The Mandurah council do not allow trailer parking in the streets, and you will get fined. We suggest you put the trailer in the garage and park your car on the street.

Alternatively, there is cheap, safe and secure trailer storage located 10 minutes from the house, open every day of the year called Storage Town. Contact Alan for advance bookings.

Broadband wireless

Wireless broadband is available at Canal Vista.

Car parking

Parking is available in the double carport and visitor parking bays on the street. The visitor parking bays are not exclusive to Canal Vista and are “first in, first served” for the entire street.

Check-in and Check-out times

Check-in is at 2pm and checkout is at 10.00am.

Damage or theft

You will be charged for any damage caused to the property during your stay. Theft will be reported to the police and you will be charged a replacement fee and may be prosecuted.

We know accidents happen so please let us know if you break anything during your stay.

Hair dryer

There is a hair dryer for your use in the main bathroom.

Housekeeping

We don’t provide a housekeeping service during your stay. If you require additional linen or housekeeping service during your stay, this can be arranged with notice. Please note there will be an additional charge of $165 if you require an extra cleaning service during your stay with us.

A washing machine, washing liquid and cleaning equipment is available for your use.

Note that our cleaners do not clean on weekends or public holidays.

Ironing board

An iron and ironing board is provided.

Jetty

The jetty can cater for a 7.5m boat.

Kayaks

We have provided two adult and two children kayaks underneath the jetty for those with an adventure streak.

It is not compulsory in Western Australia to wear a life-jacket, but we do recommend that you use one. We do not provide life-jackets and if you don’t have your own, you can buy them from BCF Mandurah.

Keys

You will be provided with two sets of keys for your stay. If you lose a set, we will charge you a $25 replacement fee.

No noise and no party policy

For the comfort of local residents, we respectfully request that you protect the ambience of the area and experiences of other residences by embracing our “No Excessive Noise Policy”, especially on the deck. Please note, late night noise and parties are NOT permitted under any circumstances.

We have a strong community in Piccolo Place that is committed to maintaining the beautiful waterway ambience, and neighbours have been known to call police on breaches of our “No Excessive Noise Policy”. If this occurs, you may be evicted from your holiday stay with no reimbursement.

Pets

No pets are permitted, except for Guide Dogs. Your co-operation is appreciated. An additional cleaning fee may be applied if the cleaners notice pets have been at the property.

Schoolies / Leavers

We do not accept bookings from schoolies or leavers. Canal Vista is a quality accommodation that has been set up with quality furnishings to be enjoyed by families and couples.

Security

Canal Vista has a security light and security cameras at the front of the property for your safety and to protect the property. This is live, but footage is only reviewed by us should an issue occur. The front door and back sliding door have deadlocks that can be locked from inside. All windows are key locked for your safety.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any indoor areas. A cleaning fee (minimum $175) will be charged if it is found that you have been smoking inside. Ashtrays and buckets are provided outside on the deck area for your convenience.
