Guests have access to half section of the house except d one living area which the owner uses for himself through the main front entry door , so guests has access from sidegate through backyard to cottage "A" with 2 bedrooms/1 bath with single glass door with steps. it's like renting the whole house without any disturbance on d owner's side n guest's r given their complete privacy.
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCATION :
Location location location ! A very newly renovated Home located In a very safe ,quiet family friendly neighborhood right across Frm Buena Park mall , walk to a best night life with all kinda bars,restaurants,theaters, shopping to knotts berry farm n within 6-7 minutes drive to Disney as we are conveniently located right by most major fwys 5 n 91. My place is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities, nightlife, and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the location.
GUESTS ACCESS N AMENITIES PROVIDED :
Guests have access to half section of the house except d one living area which the owner uses for himself through the main front entry door , so guests has access from sidegate through backyard to cottage "A" with 2 bedrooms/1 bath with single glass door with steps. it's like renting the whole house without any disturbance on d owner's side n guest's r given their complete privacy. Both rooms have flat screen tv's with local channels, a nice peaceful backyard with a covered patio and a swing,free lemons from a seedless juicy lemon tree if guests like to cook or mix it up with some drinks, also there are other herbs like green tea n mint grown in backyard, free ample parking space in the driveway and lots of parking on a private street .
ALL AMENITIES INCLUDED IS :
hair dryer, mini toaster,mini fridge n microwave,….towels ,soaps n shampoo/conditioner ,iron/iron board etc in d rooms n bathroom
MINI BREAKFAST ITEMS provided upon request:

Let me start by saying, it is in a great location. That part is true.The listing is completely inaccurate! This place should not even be allowed on here. It is still under construction. It is a poorly converted house. He gave no specific check in information. Only asked to be called 30 minutes prior to arrival. So, 10 seperate as requested phone calls and no answer...... My family and i waited in the rain for a while for him to show with a physical key. He was aware we were drivinf from Phoenix..... There was stacks of old furniture patially blocking the side entrance to the side entrance. The entry gate was hard to open and close, feels like its about to fall off. The laminate flooring they crudely screwed to the dilapidated entry steps is the only thing keeping them from crumbling. Be sure to hold on to the reclaimed pool railing that was dangerously fastened to the structure. Safety first!!! The listing offers free breakfast, convenient check-in, golf course privileges, and ski lift privileges. NONE OF THIS IS TRUE. also there is no kitchen. Just the bathroom sink and mini fridge.Do not waste your money, or piece of mind. I have already notified customer service. And requesting a refund

The location was great, loved the motion outdoor lights and how quiet it was. As a host also, there are some things I would have preferred that can be upgraded such as the blow dryer, and a better iron. There were 4 of us and we were left 3 towels and 1 bathing towel, that’s one thing I always check when we I have guests to ensure that they don’t have to reach out for these simple things. Also a blanket since we are from Texas and it’s still hot for us and here it was a bit chilly. Those are basic items that should be thought of, communication was great at first but kind of fell through on the last day when we had a clogged toilet. I had to go buy one.

Bit disappointing but functional

The owner was friendly, helpful and responsive and the check in process was smooth. But the quality of the place was disappointing. Water pressure low in the bathroom, mini fridge froze everything and there was an inexplicable moldy smell in the bathroom. Since I was out all day and only spent the nights there it was OK.

Two Australia on Holiday

We based our trip around this area for us it was perfect. We went north, south, east and west and did about 1000 Miles in 10 days.The Hoist was helpful and was there to shows in on the day we check in. He got rid of the old microwave and replace it with a new one and there was differently NO BED BUGS.The Accommodation was basic with the two rooms, the carpet was old but clean a little untried around the edge's. The bathroom was a good size and clean. The microwave fridge unit worked OK for us as we wear eating out. We where make our own breakfast most mornings and it was adequate for that.The sheet and towels were clean and the beds for me was comfortable.So definitely give him a try.

Good location, Poor Stay

We had trouble communicating with the host to receive instructions on how to check in, the person who lived at the location checked us in, not the host The unit has a smell, strongest in the bathroom The bedding seemed unchanged from whoever was there before us We stayed one night and found a bed bug in the morning Let the host know and he said he would change the bedding and spray the room He only changed the bedding in one room, we found another bed bug in the second bed and left that night We booked 3 nights and only stayed one, had to find a hotel for the next and came home early

Room has Bed bugs

The communication was great however the property has bed bugs he sprayed while we were there and offered us another free night but my daughter received so many bites and we also seen the bed bugs on the sheets… it is however close to Disney, knott's berry farm, shopping and restaurants

Bed bugs, bad smell, not clean, and uncomfortable beds

When we first got there we noticed immediately that the house had a really unpleasant smell. We went to open the windows to air it out and the windows and window sills were all really dirty and some windows didn’t open. We then noticed that the house in general didn’t seem that clean. It seemed like it had had a light cleaning but really needed a deep clean and hadn’t had one in a long time. The two beds didn’t have mattress covers and the smaller, full sized was so hard and uncomfortable that my partner and I ended up going to a hotel instead. Our friends still stayed here, but it seems like the place had bed bugs as one of them is now covered in bites.

Electricity usage monitored by Host. Horrible Smells

I will start off by saying that this property should not be listed on VRBO in the condition that it is in. The host leaves your key hanging outside by the air conditioner and while that’s OK I wonder if anyone else might have a copy to the key And now it becomes a security issue while you are sleeping. The first thing I noticed was the loud neighbors to the left door of this particular two bedroom unit. The people there were in party mode maybe because it was Friday night. As soon as you enter the front door a very nasty musty foul smell hit you in the face and in total darkness flipping the switch activates the ceiling fans so you have to blindly figure out how to pull the cords on the ceiling fan to turn on the light. My recommendation is to check in before sundown so you can see your way around the place. The second thing that Hit you in the face is how hot the place is so I decided to turn on the AC and go get some dinner, by the time we came back the temperature was still at 85° and super hot so I contacted the host and he said that he turned off the air conditioner because we are not allowed to have air conditioning if we are not in the room and he also turned off all the lights because we are not allowed to leave any lights on if we step out of the room. None of this is described in the description of the listing So I decided to leave and find another place to stay at. This place I left untouched and I just walked out and never came back. Host refused to refund.

Great place for a sightseeing California trip

Me and my friends really enjoyed staying here for a weekend wedding, it was really close to the John Wayne airport and knots berry farm as well as plenty of fast food around and shopping

Vacation

The property owner was very nice and accommodating fixed the tv remote for us. However this is more like a suite off of the owners home with 2 bedrooms separated by a door and a microwave stand. There was a persistent oder from the bathroom anytime the water was run. Hot water was short and for 3 of us someone took a cold shower. For the price and a short stay it would be a good stay not for a 7 day as we had planned.

Cleanliness of the unit was unacceptable. There were stains on the sheets and lamp. Place had a persistent bad odor that would not go away. Shower floors were slimy and the shower had a strong sewer smell. Bathroom lock did not work properly. Rooms were just a section in the house and door leading to main part of the house was only blocked by a small table with a small refrigerator and microwave on it. Very noisy due to owners living in main area of the house and them renting another area.

People were great!

The people were cool, even though the state department showed up for a house visit during our stay. The rooms really smelled bad, I had to go buy febreeze and candles to try and stand the smell. The beds were very uncomfortable. The people let us smoke out front their house but you have no privacy in the back yard area they provide. They keep their sliding doors open, nice people though.

I booked this because of the previous goods reviews & was not disappointed! It was exactly what we needed. A central place to sleep while vacationing all around the area. The host was responsive and attentive. Would stay again if in the area

Should not be listed on VRBO

After staying at and seeing nice VRBO properties, it was disappointing to walk into this one. I handed the keys back that I was given and found a nearby hotel to stay in. As you walk in there is immediately a bed there (no living area). There is another room with a bed. There is also a small bathroom. No kitchen, but there is a microwave on a small refrigerator. The place is apparently a part of the owners' parents' home, who instructed me where to park as there would be others using the driveway as well. As this VRBO was nonrefundable, I can only hope that the owner will use the payment to donate to charity or perhaps clean the place up. Ideally, they should advertise as a one bedroom and make the front room as a living area with a small dinette. Definitely not up to VRBO standards and no feeling that "you have the place all to yourself".
