The booking experience was excellent, and the rustic appeal was awesome. However, that rustic appeal comes with some compromises in these modern times, such as the limited amount or poor placement of power outlets. Overall, I had a great stay, and I didn't even have time to explore the area!

Charming house in a great location. Less than 10 minutes to the mountain/pedestrian village. Host was very responsive and extremely helpful. However, this house only fits 7 comfortably (not 12 as advertised). It could fit 8 but top bunk cannot be used because it is too close to ceiling, there is no rail, and there is a broken light which could injure someone. If privacy is not an issue, there is also a bed for one other person in an open alcove area at top of stairs. There is one common area with couch and it is a small space (not comfortable for big group to relax). Also, the picture of the kitchen is not accurate. The layout is the same; however, it is not the same finish and not updated as pictured. If space is not an issue and your only requirement is to be close to mountain, this house works well. The listing needs to be updated to be accurate for future guests.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are glad that you liked the location of our place. Regarding the space, we have hosted several larger groups but have never heard that the space was an issue. The kitchen has been recently renovated and the kitchen layout from the inside is the same as shown in the images. We are pleased to inform you that the light has been fixed and is now in fully working condition.

Decent home close to Mt Tremblant

The location is great - only 10 minutes drive from Mt Tremblant South side. The home had plenty of heat, comfortable beds, large bathrooms and a nice hangout space in the livingroom. The kitchen was adequate but not the right equipment or ventilation to cook anything but a simple meal. It would be nice to have furniture in the bedrooms where to put down items instead of on the floor, and to have more outlets and less wires running across doorways. Since the pictures are not fully clear - all of the beds are located upstairs, up a very narrow set of stairs, with 2 beds in separate bedrooms, 1 narrow bunk bed room, and 1 bed at the top of the stairs in a hallway area. The 2 bathrooms upstairs are accessible through 2 of the bedrooms. There are also extra mattresses tucked under 2 of the beds, although i'm not sure where they could be placed.

Hey Tanya, thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are glad that you liked the location of our place. As for the kitchen, we have hosted various guests but have never heard of the ventilation or the equipment provided being an issue. Perhaps you missed some as we have a full cabinet at the end of the kitchen full of extra pots and Tupperware plus more under the kitchen island. The place looks exactly like the images as the images are pretty recent and the bedding is not all upstairs as we have a room on the main floor which can sleep 2. A little confused to see if you missed parts of the property during your stay. Perhaps it would have been easier if you reached out to us during your stay so we could assist. Beautiful property with a few wrinkles.

We loved the space, a true cabin experience! The temperature of the building throughout the stay was a struggle, it was only 13 Celsius when we arrived. It wasn’t clear anywhere that we HAD to heat the main space with wood and that if we ran out we would be cold (only on really cold -20 days) and have to bundle up. It’s not a huge deal, just a little annoying/uncomfortable and good to know for future guests to be prepared.The downstairs shower didn’t provide more than 2 minutes of hot water. That also wasn’t a big deal because we let everyone use the master shower, which had more hot water.This place is great though, just needs a little attention, and probably not for people who require everything to be perfect.

Regarding the temperature, we generally ensure that the temperature is between 20-24 degree Celsius inside the cabin and like mentioned earlier during your stay a breaker might have tripped which is a one off incident. Les photos de la cuisine étaient différentes de la photo. Une porte d armoire était très croche. Le mur de la douche du rez-de-chaussée est inapproprié et est en dégradation. La marche du rez-de-chaussée vers la chambre a une hauteur inapproprié et non sécuritaire. En haut, la hauteur du plancher entre la salle de bain et la chambre est inegale de 3 pouces et a cause la chute d une personne. Les lits sont confortable et les espaces communs très conviviables.
