David, a clean house dressed out in proper Hill Country cowboy style is exactly what we aim for, and hearing that it landed that way for you means a lot. The décor in that place was put together with real care, and guests who appreciate it tend to notice the smaller details too, the vintage pieces and the little nods to ranch life throughout the rooms. If you make it back, the Hill Country is something else in the spring when the wildflowers are up. Hope to have you again!

Walter, the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans room gets more love than just about anything else at the property, and you found the cast iron and the cowboy cocoa bar on top of it. Happy trails, indeed. The county fire ban did shut down both the fireplace and the fire pit on you in December, and that one is out of our hands, so we now flag the current ban status in the pre-arrival note instead of letting folks plan a cool evening around a fire that is not happening. Come back once it lifts, lay in a couple of Duraflame logs, and take the cocoa out to that front porch. Our returning guests always get 10% off, so that is yours the next time you book with us.
