The Lily Pad was a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. It was close to everything. The extra seating area in the bedroom and the extra half bath made this place even better. We would stay here again.

Great stay and place over all. 2 things worth mentioning 1- parking is tricky as it’s on the other side of the street and not very clear . So we had to contact host to know where to park 2- trash bins are not clear for checking out , we actually had to take trash back with us as we could not locate which trash bins to use

Thank you for the great review and for sharing this helpful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall. We apologize for the confusion regarding parking and the trash bins. We understand how frustrating it can be to have to reach out for basic check-in and check-out information, and we certainly don’t want guests to have to take their trash home with them. We’ll work on providing clearer parking instructions and better identifying the appropriate trash bins in our guest information. We truly appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. Your feedback helps us make the experience smoother for future guests, and we hope to welcome you back again!

Great location for us, the place had everything we needed. Check-in directions need parking guidance; we relied on friendly neighbors to point out a lot across the street. We will likely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, cute, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was great—close enough to everything while still feeling peaceful and private. The only small surprise was that the cabins on either side were a bit run down and not quite what I expected when we first arrived, but that’s completely out of the owner’s control and didn’t impact our stay at all. We were never bothered by anyone nearby, and once inside, it truly felt like our own little retreat.Overall, I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable getaway!

Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the cabin clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We appreciate your understanding about the neighboring properties — as you noted, they’re outside our control, but we’re happy to hear it didn’t affect your experience. It’s great to know you’d stay again and recommend the cabin — we’d love to welcome you back!

Great place!

The location was perfect - right across the parking lot from the Tavern, down the street from Cypress Falls swimming hole, and a short drive from downtown Wimberley. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed (with a few extra surprises that were much appreciated like quality shampoo/conditioner, some treats, and plenty of coffee). The bed was very comfortable and I absolutely loved the screened in porch right next to the creek. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice affordable place to stay when in Wimberley and if I return to the area, I would definitely like to stay here again. I felt right at home.
