Private Mountain Paradise! Custom built, 2 bed, 2 bath cabin on 5 acres is the perfect retreat. Floor to ceiling windows, double sliding doors downstairs, bring nature right to you. Views of Clear Creek from the master bedroom, and secluded forest views from every other window make this the perfect place to recharge. Take a dip in the cedar wrapped hot tub, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, explore the wooded trails & make your way down the the water.

*No WiFi/cell service* (only 5-7 mins away)

Welcome to Tamanawas, our private 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Cabin in the beautiful Mount Hood Forest.

Upstairs is the Primary Suite, queen size bed, smart tv with DVD player, full private bathroom with large walk in shower, large closet and dresser, and magical views. Open up those windows and listen the the sounds of water.

Downstairs bedroom has 4 bunks with cozy linens, dressers, closet and a private bathroom with walk in shower.
Kitchen is fully stocked with everything one could need. Kitchen is open to the dining area and living room complete with a wood stove for those cozy nights. Double sliding doors open the the back covered patio with a BBQ. Just off the patio is the fire pit area and picnic table. Landscaped rock paths lead you to the cedar wrapped hot tub and hammock.

Follow the trails to the creek, explore the woods, play in the stick teepee, play ping pong in the covered garage area. No WiFi and limited cell service depending on carrier. House has a landline and there is full cell service 5 minutes away (coffee shop in Welches, approx 10 mins from cabin)

ā˜… Hot tub *We strive to make sure hot tubs are working at all times. If they are not working due to circumstances outside of our control, unfortunately we cannot provide any type of refund for the inconvenience.

Amazing stay in a slice of heaven. It was the perfect getaway to unplug and unwind. The views and walk to the river were the perfect way to start the morning and the hot tub and fireplace were the best way to end the day. The town was quaint and the people were so friendly!

Mountain retreat

Beautiful, so peaceful, a bit of construction noise on an adjoining property but that was no bother really. We felt totally relaxed and able to get away from it all.

Cute home. Friends came from out of town, was great to relax and disconnect. Close enough to town to do activities. We loved relaxing out back, dipping toes in the river, and soaking in hot tub.

Like living in the forest, comfortably

Check-in and communication was easy. Location is away from the traffic and very secluded. The cabin is beautiful and nestled in a forest with its own creek and plenty of space for exploring the grounds. I loved visiting the creek and hearing the peaceful rush of water nearby. The vegetation is so lush and yet we did not have mosquitoes bother our family of five. The huge windows around the cabin gave us the feel like we were camping in the forest, but within the luxury of a newly done cabin home. The laundry room, hot tub and kitchen were all well-planned and nice amenities and we spent lots of time outdoors on the table tennis table and the hammock if we werenā€™t chatting around the outdoor living space having barbecue for dinner. Strings of lights gave the forest an enchanted feel at night and let us feel safe and snugly.

My husband and I are newly weds! We came here for his birthday and then turned into a little honeymoon getaway! Was our first time in Oregon EVER. It was just more than we were expecting and all of our expectations were met!! Easy access to everything in the cabin to the outside of the cabin. Itā€™s a ā€œoff the gridā€ cabin but so much around you once on the main road. Definitely living the ā€œtwilightā€ dream!

Amazing Peaceful Experience

We really enjoyed this space, we took advantage of the area and the back yard and the fire pit. It was so great not to have wifi and have three days away in peace and quiet. We got to spend quality family time together

This house was everything we were looking for and definitely one of the cleanest places we have stayed at! Our children cried as we left the driveway as it was their favorite place so far. And as we drove down the road they asked how soon we could go back. It definitely was a gem and we cant wait to go back!

Beautiful Escape

If you are looking for a place to get totally 'off the grid,' relax, and unwind, Tamanawas cabin is for you. It is situated in a perfect location, surrounded by nature, yet not too far away from shops and all the attractions the Mt. Hood region has to offer. The cabin is tastefully decorated, with just the right amenities to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable. The iTrip team who took care of our stay were first class and were on hand before, during and after our trip to make sure our experience was perfect in every way. A great choice for a small group or family.
