We had an amazing few days. The house was spacious and close to the beach; we could walk there, and if the kids got tired of the sea, we'd go back to the community pool. We loved it!!

iTrip was very responsive to our requests that we sent in. Place was large enough for 6 adults and 5 young children. Short walk to park and pool. And beach was not too far. Even for a 4 and 5 year old to walk to.

Knotty Dog is not naughty at all

Have an amazing time staying in the Sea Watch - Knotty Dog. The house was exactly what we needed for our large family gathering. Super clean property was good amounts of seating and great areas for both adults and kids to be entertained. Just steps away through a very beautifully landscaped sidewalk, there was a tennis court and playground with our final destination, the large pool. It was never too crowded, just friendly folks just enjoying vacation together.

Great Stay!

We had such a great stay at Knotty Dog! The house was super comfortable, clean, and had plenty of space for our group. We loved how easy it was to walk to the beach and pool, and the neighborhood was really quiet and relaxing. The decks were perfect for hanging out after a beach day, and it was awesome being able to bring our dog along too. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home and community

We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful this property was! Very clean and fully equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very roomy . The extra refrigerator downstairs was a huge plus! I saw previous reviews about only having one key FOB for the pool and beach access and will say the owners heard them because we had two FOBS which worked well for our group. The property management team was great to work with and very responsive.

Wonderful stay

Knotty Dog was very spacious and clean. The Seawatch neighborhood was very nice - beautiful homes and landscaping, short walk to the beach and pool, and friendly folks.

Knotty Dog

Had a great time. Knotty Dog was very comfy and well equipped. Loved the wide open 2nd floor great for our family. Highly recommend.

First family reunion vacation

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. Decorated perfect. The layout of the house was wonderful. Loved that no bedrooms were on the main floor. Lovely neighborhood and safe . We would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful Stay!

Highly recommend! Plenty of room and well appointed. We love the 2nd floor with wide open living, dining, and kitchen area. The path right next to the house leads straight to the pool and just after the pool is the sidewalk to the beach entrance. Less than 5 min walk to the beach. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

We had a great time during our stay at Knotty Dog. The location is ideal and the amenities of the pool and playground are so nice! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The host is easy to contact and communicate with via txt which was nice. The only thing I’d recommend is more dish towels be provided for the kitchen. For that many people only having two dish towels was not practical. Loved our stay otherwise!

Beautiful house! Great seaside community!!

We love Kure Beach and this neighborhood, so we were so excited to see the listing! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, with great amenities. There were lots of beach chairs, bicycles, and games. The beach was just a short walk away with a nice private beach access. Everyone was super nice, making our vacation wonderful!!

Great Beach Getaway

Knotty Dog was a perfect spot for our family getaway. The house was clean and had all the needed supplies. It was a 2 minute walk to the pool and a 5 minute walk to the private beach access. The neighborhood and neighbors were all welcoming. The communication with iTrip was great they were extremely helpful. We had enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to stay here again on future trips.

Wonderful!

Our family of nine had a wonderful time at Knotty Dog. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was not crowded & pool was close by. The kids played Pickle Ball on the tennis court. And we were very blessed to have beautiful weather. Who could ask for more? Would definetly come here again.

Fabulous stay at Knotty Dog!!

What a fantastic place to stay on Kure Beach!! We were just thrilled with this house. Clean and casual and relaxed. Having a middle floor without bedrooms provided a great place to gather without bothering sleepers. Easy for the whole family to gather in the family room and kitchen combo. The outdoor covered porches are surrounded by trees which create such a relaxed and cool place to read on the porch swing or eat at the table or just sit and talk in the rockers and chairs. We loved the walk to the beach. We passed butterfly covered plants (the landscaping and white picket fences are beautiful) and the kids' park and the pool on the way to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, a great coffee maker and out back a gas grill. Beds were comfy with most rooms having a place to head to a porch or outdoor space. The little ones who were with us had so much room to play! We will definitely return! Until next time, hope others enjoy Knotty Dog as much as we did!!!

Enjoyable Stay

Our stay at the Knotty Dog was enjoyable. The Sea Watch community is a nice place to stay. The neighborhood was quiet, there are sidewalks to the pool/tennis courts, the private beach access with a restroom was really nice, and the location was great. The house was exactly as described from the listing and the space was just what we needed for the week. The beach items in the closet was an extra added bonus. A few things to note - the kitchen was fine, but I have stayed at places with a lot more options for cooking and a bit better quality. The linen situation was a bit frustrating. There was only a washcloth in the main floor bathroom and ONE hand towel provided in the kitchen. There were 10 of us in the property for a week - we needed more towels. They only provided 2 pillows per bed, which isn't a big deal, but again we had 10 people and were using every single bed - some of us like more than 1 pillow. We went out on day 1 and purchased pillows/pillow cases/hand towels/washclothes. The sheets were low quality. There were no blinds on the bedrooms on the third floor, and the curtains on the windows were sheer. Luckily we are early birds, but it got very bright in our rooms quite early. The doors to the third floor deck had no blinds/curtains. Overall we were happy with our stay, but we felt like for the price we paid a few improvements/extra amenities could be provided to take this from a good stay to an excellent stay.

Clean, Cozy, Comfortable

The Knotty Dog was clean, comfortably furnished and proved to be a cozy retreat for our vacation. We enjoyed the spacious living area and well supplied kitchen. The property is in a great neighborhood across from the beach but feels tucked away, thanks to its setting with plenty is shade trees. The porch swing was a nightly treat.

The perfect home away from home at Kure Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at the Knotty Dog in the Seawatch Community. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, as well. Our family loved the pool, tennis courts, and playground. Beach access was close enough to the house to walk comfortably. The property management team were very prompt with communication and assistance. Thanks for a great stay at our favorite beach!
