This remarkable property boasts an impressive 6 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms ensuring ample space for family and friends to revel in comfort and privacy. From the moment you step inside, you'll be captivated by the grandeur of high ceilings, creating an open and inviting ambiance that welcomes you with open arms.

The heart of this remarkable home lies in its gourmet stone bench kitchen, fully equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances. A true haven for culinary enthusiasts, this kitchen effortlessly connects to the family room, making it a focal point for stylish and seamless entertaining. As you gather around the elegant dining area, overlooking the scenic waterfront views, you'll feel a sense of pure bliss, knowing that every moment shared here will be filled with joy and relaxation.

Entertainment is taken to new heights with the addition of a delightful games room and a private pool area, inviting laughter and fun-filled moments for all ages.

Unwind by the poolside, take a refreshing dip on warm days with dedicated kids wading pool (this is not a spa as photos may suggest), or challenge your loved ones to a game of mini golf in the beautifully landscaped surroundings.

With plenty of off street car spaces, convenience is at your fingertips, providing easy access for exploring the nearby attractions and natural wonders that Dora Creek has to offer.

*Important Advice: Any guest wishing to fish in the waters of Lake Macquarie must comply with the relevant laws as defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1994. This includes (but is not limited to), holding a fishing license where necessary, knowing and respecting bag & size limits and not fishing in protected waters. Please note that many areas of Lake Macquarie house Razor Clams - please don't take risks and always wear solid footwear when walking through water or playing on shoreline rocks. Any guest intending to use crab pots are reminded to not place them within the vicinity of any moored vessel on the Lake. Pots can move in lake tidal waters & the wind and can cause stressful and extremely costly damage to our neighbours boats. Crab pot lines easily become wrapped around props and keels as well as mooring lines. When this happens, it is not a simple matter of removing the crab pot line, it can cost up to $20000 in repairs to the damaged equipment on the boat. Guests may be held liable against a damage claim so a clear reminder to be wary of placement and at all times to respect neighbouring property.

This is a 4 bedroom Luxury home + 2 Bedroom Retreat offering bedding up to 12 guests.

Security Deposit: This property requires a $1000 refundable security deposit due no later than 5 days prior to arrival. The value of the bond will be added to the total at the time of booking.

Housekeeper Cottage: We are set on 3 Acres and the housekeeper/caretaker lives in a private 2br Cottage on the grounds.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.

Arrival Details: Access to the property is made simple. You’ll receive an access code via SMS just before 3pm on your arrival day, which you’ll use for the duration of your stay. Standard check-in is at 3pm. While an earlier arrival may be possible, it cannot be confirmed until the afternoon prior to your arrival. If an earlier check-in is available, we will send you an SMS by 4pm the day before to confirm.

Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO

Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - we do not supply Shampoo, Conditioner or Body Wash. Guests are reminded to prepare & bring their own personal bathroom products/amenities. We will continue to supply Anti-Bacterial hand soap in a pump pack + Kitchen Necessities/Basics.

Wifi is provided complimentary on behalf of the owner. It is intended to be used in an appropriate manner by all guests. As the service is provided by an external 3rd party, Weekenda cannot and do not guarantee the speed or efficacy of this property's wifi connection nor do we pay any compensation for interruption of service for any reason.

Pools: If the property has a Swimming Pool then it will be opened for swimming for the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.

Fires & Firewood: Internal wood fireplaces and outdoor fire pits only operate after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays in line with NSW state fire restrictions. BYO Firewood, Kindling, and Starters which can be easily purchased from the local service stations.

No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behavior.

Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.

Cameras and Noise Monitoring: There are 4 external security cameras installed at this location presently but the owner reserves the right at any time to install additional external cameras at their discretion. Cameras are positioned to view front entry, driveway, side path and shedareas for external security monitoring only. All cameras are installed in line with local regulations. A noise monitoring device is installed - fines apply to guests found to have disconnected, removed or damaged the noise device. These devices are used to monitor and maintain ours and guests responsibilities under the NSW STR Code of Conduct.

Guest Registration / ID Check : Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.

Critical Update: Due to an unprecedented influx of fraudulent bookings, we are forced to impose a policy that protects our clients, industry and community against those attempting to commit fraud and theft. Any booking made within 5 days of arrival is required to provide a photo of a valid credit card in the same full name of the primary guest to match the supplied identification document. Failure of these documents matching will result in the booking being cancelled and all funds processed returned to the original card assumed as stolen and thus a fraudulent transaction. We trust we have our honest and genuine customers understanding this policy is in place to protect all parties.

Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

Awesome house! Great views, plenty of space, very accomodating for large groups or families.However, If you want total seclusion & tranquillity, suggest to look elsewhere, as you'll be a little close to the neighbours (who don't bother you)!

Birthday weekend

Me and 10 friends stayed in this house and loved it. Big space, plenty of rooms and good views. Never a dull moment in the house and communication was quick and efficient and answered all questions. The only issue was the pool looked bigger in the picture and made it appear as though there was 2 functional pool. However im just knitpicking😂 the pool was still very big and we loved it. Will most likely make a return to this property in the future. They also extended our checkout time by an additional 2 hours free of charge. They also offered an extra night for 50% the base rate. Amazing house, very nice owners 10/10.

Disappointing

Inside the property was lovely, everything you could possible need for a large group is provided and didnt disappoint especially the common areas and the comfortable beds. Unfortunately the outside maintenance was well below standard. Green mold stains on the outside of the house the gardens full of weeds, cigarette butts in the courtyard and old lawn mowers left in the parking spots. Also the pond at the rear of the property has a dilapidated bridge which is un safe and the pond is stagnant creating a mosquito haven.the sitting areas closer to the water are ready for the bin and the ground is covered in glass.
