Spend your days at Bateau Bay Beach, a charming and beautiful bay tucked between two headlands and backing on to Wyrrabalong National Park. The bay is popular for snorkelling, swimming and fishing, so grab your swimmers and make a day of it.
When you"ve had enough of the beach (if that"s even possible) make sure you head up to Crackneck Point Lookout (less than 2km via The Coast walking track) and continue on, if you feel inspired, toward Forresters Beach. This stunning walk is one of the best on the Central Coast and is an excellent spot for seasonal whale watching. For anyone really into retro, take a short drive up to Long Jetty and spend a couple of hours mooching around the vintage clothing and homeware stores before grabbing a bite to eat at Modern Organic. Long Jetty also hosts markets on the last Saturday of each month and offer 130+ stores of food, fashion, local arts, produce and jewellery.
If you"ve brought doggo along for the adventure, then you"ll find a 24hr dog friendly beach just over 1km away at North Shelly Beach. Once you"ve both worked up an appetite head over to Munchas at the Shelly Beach Surf Club where both you and your furry friend will be more than welcome to grab a drink and refuel.

After a day of adventuring, head back to your retro beach house and enjoy an evening chilling out on the back deck. Fire up the BBQ, crack a cold one and lounge the evening away on the comfy outdoor setting. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, but if you prefer to eat out then there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs within walking distance or a short drive.
Pets: This property is pet friendly with prior approval from the owners. Pets are to be kept off beds, couches, cushions and other soft furnishings. Additional cleaning fees will apply if pets mark or soil these areas, or leave excessive fur or dirt behind.
