Surfcoast Soul - Stylish Dog Friendly Retreat

Perched up amongst the trees in Torquay, this architectural home watches over the rolling hills of Spring Creek, offering ocean glimpses and tree-top views. A short 3-minute drive to Torquay front beach, Surf Beach and Cosy Corner, with many closeby walking tracks. This place is the perfect location for a classic Torquay holiday.

This three-tiered house has just been freshly renovated and beautifully styled. Enter the ground floor, and you are in the lounge room with a classic brick open fireplace and hearth.
The open-plan space has a beautiful feel to it. High ceilings and windows for days,

Centre to the action is a well-appointed kitchen and dining room with an 8-seater dining table. The dining room opens onto a vast terraced deck with an 8-seater outdoor dining table and lovely views of nearby hills. Enjoy a cheeky wine on the deck, and watch the sun as it goes down. The property is next to a reserve, ensuring more privacy and tranquillity.

The garden terrace wraps around the house and weaves into another terraced area complete with a basketball hoop and plenty of space to play soccer, totem tennis, football and cricket with equipment provided.

There are four fantastic bedrooms: a master queen with ensuite, a queen bedroom, a bedroom with two singles and a bunk room, all with ample storage, hanging space and blinds or curtains.

The main bathroom features a spa bath, and the other two bathrooms service the bedrooms, so no worries about shower cues.

The laundry is fitted with a washing machine and dryer for ease and convenience.

The terraced, fully fenced, dog-welcoming yard is perfect for those who couldn’t bear to holiday without the family hound.

This 8-person beach house has everything you need to drop you smack bang into Torquay beach life. Head off for a day of fishing using the rods provided, or spend a day at the beach and catch a wave or two using the boogie board available. Beach towels are supplied, too, so you don't have to pack your own.

Torquay is the official starting point of the Great Ocean Road and is Victoria's surfing and beach worship capital. Visit the lands of the Wadawurrung People over Easter and see the world's best surfers compete in the mighty Rip Curl Pro.

While at its busiest in the hot summer months, Torquay is a year-round destination offering more than just fantastic surf. Capture the spirit of surf culture with a visit to the Surf World Surfing Museum with pictures and hands-on displays.

For a great day out, the surrounding region offers many quality golf courses and wineries to tour. Stroll along sandy beaches beneath towering cliffs or take fine coast views from vantage points along the Surf Coast Walk. Don't be afraid of the name; snorkelling around Point Danger Marine Sanctuary is a great way to see some of the diversity of the area's underwater inhabitants. Take a short drive to the nearby Bellarine Peninsula, with its collection of towns fronting the sandy beaches of Port Phillip and the exhilarating ocean waters of Bass Strait. The Bellarine Peninsula is also an acclaimed food destination with its collection of wineries, breweries, farm gates and dining establishments.

Extra things to note:
* Fire Place - To keep costs down, we don't supply firewood. But you can pick it up at the Coles Express on the highway.
* Kids bunk beds are rated to 80kg each (160kg total).

IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with TRUVI, the leading vacation rental guest screening provider.
PLEASE NOTE that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through TRUVI.
You will also be required to choose between a security deposit or a waiver. If a security deposit is chosen, there is a small non-refundable administration fee attached. The security deposit is refunded after checkout. If the waiver is chosen, there is no refund.

HOUSE RULES
* PLEASE NOTE: This is a quiet community, perfect to relax and enjoy. So please - no loud noise & no parties.

* Quiet Hours are between: 9PM and 8AM. We are in constant contact with the surrounding neighbours who will let us know if there are any disturbances.

* NO SMOKING: Strictly NO smoking/vaping inside, on the balcony, or in any outside areas.

* PENALTIES: If any damage is caused, smoking/vaping takes place or there is evidence of a party there will be a $500 penalty plus we will request the repair costs plus the extra cleaning costs. If a guest coming in needs to be moved to another property due to the damage or smell of smoke still being present, we will also request the cost of that nights stay. Please respect these rules.

* All bookings require a check-in form completed before arrival. You must agree to our terms & conditions, upload a photo ID & selfie of the primary guest choose a waiver/security deposit (security deposits incur a non-refundable admin fee) with our partner TRUVI.

* Lastly we will also need you to agree to our house rules.

DOG POLICY FOR OUR PROPERTY
We’re happy to welcome your dog to our property! To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone (both two- and four-legged guests), we kindly ask you to follow a few important guidelines:

Allowed Pets:
• Dogs only. (Sorry, no other pets at this time.)
• Maximum of 2 small dog(s) or 1 big dog per booking.
• Dogs must be fully house-trained, well-behaved, and up-to-date with flea/tick prevention.
• There is an additional charge of $100 per dog, per stay which must be added to your reservation, if you choose to bring your dog with you.

General Rules:
• Dogs must have their own bed and must be kept off all furniture and bedding at all times.
• No food or water bowls are provided for hygiene reasons — please bring your own.
• Dogs must be supervised at all times and not left alone at the property unless securely crated.
• Please clean up after your dog immediately (both indoors and outdoors).
• Before departure, please conduct a thorough check of the yard and sweep/vacuum any fur inside the property.

Important Notes:
• Barking or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated, out of respect for neighbours and other guests.
• Any damage by your pet must be reported immediately.
• Additional cleaning and/or damage charges starting from $300 will apply if the above guidelines are not adhered to.
• Guests bringing a dog must notify us at the time of booking or immediately after.

By bringing your dog, you agree to these terms.

Great family Stay

Good clean family holiday day with functional spaces and logical bathroom locations (you know what I mean if you know what I mean).Great light in home, lounge and in/outdoor dinning with functional/practical kitchen setup - inc. Real Bread Knife !!! Peelers, openers etc.Close to fantastic fish and chip shop (best fish in a while) short walk down to off lead park.Clear communications - We plan to visit againcheers

Just perfect

What a beautiful house, well looked after and very comfortable. Very close to everything Torquay has to offer. We all loved it here (especially our Dog - she loved the garden). We will be back.
