From the owner: "Thank you for the review. Yes, the forest road is right behind the cabin, and there's a little more traffic on it now that the trails are complete and open. We put curtains up to block the view from the road. I hadn't thought about movies for entertainment; perhaps I should start a collection! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!"

Hi Katrina, we passed your review on to the homeowner, who would like to share the following: -The property was thoroughly cleaned by our team, and we uphold rigorous cleanliness standards. The dark patches on the knotty pine floors are a natural characteristic of the wood's aging process and are not indicative of mold.-Regarding the keypad issue, it seems there was difficulty using it. Instead of waiting for our cleaning crew, who were en route, a screen was broken to gain access, unfortunately causing damage to the property.-Additionally, our inspections found no evidence of spiders or other pests.-We understand that the extreme heat on the hottest day of the year presented a challenge, particularly since there is no air conditioning in the property. We regret that they were unable to wait for the ceiling fans to provide some relief, as we believe that with a bit of time, their stay could have become more comfortable.Thank you for taking the time to leave your review!

We also plan to add cushions to the bench for more comfort. - We will be upgrading the cookware soon, adding more pots and bowls to improve the kitchen experience. - The child-sized chairs were chosen to save space in the cabin, but we will reconsider this for future guests. - While river access is limited for security reasons, we will explore adding steps or a small ramp to improve accessibility.
