The house is beautiful and well appointed. This was our 2nd year staying here. The only thing to note is that it is at the intersection of a busy road and the traffic noise is loud. However, you also hear the beautiful horses and Amish buggies coming through so it makes it all worthwhile.

Excellent home

Our second time using this house for our April get away from Vermont and another wonderful stay at a beautiful home! The location is so close to shopping and being close to working farms is wonderful to watch from the front porch and a garage to use for vehicles is a plus also.Looking forward to our next time staying at this house!!

The house is beautiful but had significant problems with tons of flies & ants inside the house. The host hung fly sticky tape all over but we were forced to look at hundreds of flies dead above our heads when eating! Ants got in our clothes and flies in our food & drinks. Grill was dirty, dryer filter never emptied and got all in our clothes in dryer & drinking glasses filthy. Also filter above stove was not cleaned and debris fell into food while cooking. If host gives us credit & fixes issues I will repost with info.

Beautiful House

This is our second year celebrating Easter in this beautiful house. The house is spotless and has all the amenities needed to have a wonderful vacation. Aside from a spacious interior it has a huge lawn which the children enjoyed. It is right down the road from Kitchen Kettle which is very convenient and also is a short ride to Strasburg where they have the railroad museum and train rides. I would highly recommend this house if you are considering a stay in Lancaster with a large group. The caretaker is very friendly and accommodating for any of your needs

The home is very nice and well appointed. However, when we arrived the home had not been cleaned from the previous renter. The owner was responsive, and brought a team in to get everything done by the time we got dinner and went grocery shopping. All towels and sheets had been laundered with scented products, which was a problem for our scent allergies. We bought new sheets to use while there. They came also and cleaned out the dryer vent in an attempt to remove some of the smell so we could wash clothes, which we appreciated. The sectional in the family room had at least one broken leg - when you sat down you sank right in and it hard to get out of - it was not comfortable. The house is located at a busy intersection and it seemed like there was truck traffic at all hours of the morning and night. We were there at the end of September/early October and the flies were everywhere. I understand the house is in the country but the bugs come in with you. In addition, none of the windows have screens so we couldn't open any windows without letting the bugs in. The house is spacious and we enjoyed our time in the Lancaster area, but know what you are renting.

It's a beautiful, almost new, well-built, large house!We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights. Saw Sight & Sound production of Noah, roamed the area and ate some really good food.

What a fun place to stay! I especially loved the Sunday morning walk up the road and the chance to visit with the animals along the way—it really made the experience feel special.The bedrooms themselves were comfortable, but the bedding could use a noticeable upgrade. The sheets, pillows, duvet, and blankets felt lower in quality and didn’t quite match the overall standard or charm of the home. Investing in high-quality, 100% cotton linens and more luxurious bedding would make a big difference and better align the sleeping experience with the rest of the property.

This place is amazing.Everything from the comfy beds,fully stocked kitchen,large table for games and enjoying each others company.It is nestled in Amish country with fields all around you.Kitchen Kettle Village right down the road,easy driving to other well known areas.There was an Amish grocery store that had the necessities for food needed.You won't be disappointed with staying in this cozy place.

Amazing house and experience

We had an amazing time during our stay. The house is truly amazing, well finished and maintained. Steven was also a pleasure to work with and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Lancaster area.

This spacious property with it's tasteful decor is very well maintained by the owner-hosts. The home wonderfully accommodated our large family gathering, and is conveniently located for accessibility to many other activities. The brand new gas grill was great for grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbecued chicken for all who gathered. We enjoyed our walks on the quiet side road through beautiful farmland. Many thanks to our hosts for a sweet stay.

Beautiful and spacious home with everything we needed to enjoy a few days away with our family. Although the home is in the heart of Amish country, it was next to a very busy thoroughfare and workshop which was a little noisy early in the morning. We would still stay again, just a bit noisy if you aren't used to a lot of road noises.
