The location, layout of the rooms, comfort of the beds, off street parking and pet friendly inclusion were all great.The biggest disappointment was the state of cleanliness and the lack of maintenance . The dishwasher was inoperable and we had to wash most of the cutlery and dinnerware before we could even use them. Washing by hand was not a problem but it would have been nice to have to have been notified so we didn’t stack the dishwasher only to find it didn’t work!The placemats were not clean, so we had to go and buy some along with an ice cube tray and decent washing up detergent.The bedrooms, bathroom and laundry all had cobwebs and the laundry/toilet room needed a good clean and dust. In the kitchen, the corner cupboard door hinge was broken allowing the door to almost fall off and in one bedroom the wardrobe doors were so badly out of square as to make unusable.The cleaning and maintenance need to be seriously addressed at this property as I believe most guests would have these issues high on their priority list.As stated in the beginning, the location, layout and pet friendly aspects are great and we would stay again BUT only if we knew the cleanliness and maintenance issues were addressed.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this caused, particularly having to wash the dinnerware and cutlery before using them and purchase items that you reasonably expected to be provided. We also apologise that the dishwasher and some of the other maintenance issues were not addressed before your arrival. We understand how frustrating it would have been to discover these issues during your stay. We only wish you had reached out to us while you were staying with us so we could have had the opportunity to address these concerns for you. The property was very welcoming. There was an issue with the front door not locking and the lock box was difficult to close once opened. Very good for pets and walking distance to everything. Could of done with a few minor things like a tea towel. The beds were all doubles. A queen wouldn't of gone a miss.

Superbly located, very clean and rooms were welcoming and gorgeous. Would highly recommend , and would probably revisit. Kitchen facilities need a refresh - pans and electric plugs. One big concern for us was the property being accessed while we were out without prior or post notice - to repair the kitchen sink mixer tap that was very loose - the repair was welcome, but it was a big privacy infringement that made us all feel uncomfortable.
