We had an excellent stay at this home in Mullens. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Its location was perfect—close to the trails, making it easy to ride during the day and return to a comfortable place to unwind in the evening. The property was well-maintained, and the host was friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. We appreciated the peaceful setting and the convenience of being near local attractions and trail access. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area for trail riding or a West Virginia getaway.

House was perfect for our needs. Very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Appreciated the availability of several bottles of water and K-cups upon our arrival. Enjoyed watching the deer walk across the front yard each morning.

Everything was great from check in to check out. The owner, Winsor, thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Just check in , relax and enjoy. Mullens is a very friendly town. The shower was the best we ever had in our travels. Everything was clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location for riding to the Hatfield McCoy trailhead. Winsor was an excellent host and provided good communication and answered all our questions promptly. House was very well maintained and we would not hesitate to return. Mullens is a friendly, welcoming town.

Great location and very nice accommodations

Easy check in process. Owner was in communication before and during our stay to make sure we had what we needed. Very nice property, well maintained. Accurate listing.

Hatfield McCoy SXS Trip

My wife and I planned a long weekend trip to the Hatfield & McCoy trail system and had a great stay at the house. It was very clean, all nice appliances, well stocked kitchen and a great location close to the trails.

Stay in Mullens

It was a very good stay. Trail head not far away, neighborhood was quiet and friendly. not as much parking as shown but was sufficient for 2 trucks and trailers. Very clean and overall nice place.

Sons 16th birthday!

The house was perfect as was the host Winsor! Close to trails and couldn't have asked for a better birthday for our son. There was a welcome gift in the form of a birthday cake too! Thank you!

Great Stay Despite Mother Nature!

The property was well-maintained and comfortable. The only issues was cleanliness of the toilet, which the owner promptly responded to with cleaning supplies. The owner was communicative and responsive to to pur family during a power outage related to aig ificant storms and flooding in the area.

Mullens cottage

Very cute, clean, updated cottage in Mullens, West Virginia. The kitchen is well stocked and the house sleeps 6 comfortably. Great location for riding our ATVs. Very close to trail access and ample parking for the trailer. The house has great water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers after riding all day. Very cute front porch to relax on after long rides. I highly recommend this house in Mullens!

The host: Super helpful, answered any questions in a timely manner and when couldn't answer something directed us to someone who could. Your neighbor, Randy, will help with parking and recommendations in Mullens. Him and his wife were super friendly.The house: Very clean, roomy, plenty of towels & rags for 5 people who stayed 4 nights. We did hang our towels up and reused just those. Every room has a ceiling fan, so if you need to sleep with a fan you're covered. Each room also has its own TV. The living room has 1 futon and 1 queen sofa sleeper. My son (16) stayed on the sofa sleeper and said it was comfy. Beds were comfortable. The living room does have a sliding door with a lock, so whomever is staying in there can have privacy. AC works great! There is a small hill to get to front door, but it is easy to unload because they have stairs and a ramp available. There were 4 or 5 lawn chairs on the deck.Just FYI if you are coming with trailers. We had a Chevy extended cab full bed PU with a 24ft trailer. The drive up to the house was tight, as was the drive down. The streets are narrow here. We made it and had plenty of room to park. My father-in-law had a Chevy extended cab full bed truck with a 18ft trailer and didn't have trouble traversing the area. Just keep in mind the size of your truck and trailer combo. Both trucks and trailers had a space to park - Randy, the neighbor, helped with that. We parked 3 SXS in the gravel area in front of house.Great place to stay!

Dream Home

Stayed a lot of places. It’s the best and only choice. Home is perfect. Location is perfect. We will go back I’m not going to mess around trying to find anything better. There is no way anyone else can provide the service and perfection that comes with the whole experience of this property. They set the bar high. You will not regret this property. Don’t risk it somewhere else go with a sure thing and have a great trip. This is the best choice and my only future choice.

Great Stay at Mullens House

Hi there,I just wanted to personally thank you for the amazing stay at your Mullens home. I’ve been coming to ride the Hatfield-McCoy trail system for over 20 years, but this was my wife’s first time—and choosing your place made it all the more special. It was clean, quiet, and stocked with everything we needed. The barn door and that cozy fireplace were instant hits with her, and now she’s already talking about how to recreate the vibe at home!We’re born on the Bay and raised in the clay—motocross and dirt bikes have always been part of our life, so the ongoing joke all weekend was me correcting her from calling them “tracks” instead of “trails.” But after four days riding Pinnacle Creek, Warrior, Indian Ridge, and Pocahontas—and especially after discovering Pierce Place on top of Pocahontas Trail with live music and birthday beer—she fully got it. This wasn’t just a ride; it was an experience.Thank you again for helping make it such a memorable trip. We absolutely plan to stay at your place again the next time we come back—and something tells me that will be sooner rather than later.All the best,Rob

Home and property is always so clean. Really makes you feel like home when staying there. I live on the road staying places for work and I can honestly say this property is priced way lower than what you get when you stay. It’s a 5 star property. Couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and the feeling of being in a nice clean, comfortable home. Best place to stay anywhere around
