Great place to spend the week in Cassville. Everything worked or was as advertised. Very close to Roaring River State Park. Beds were comfortable and the place was well decorated for the theme. Will be coming back next fall and we hope it will be available.

It was a nice place to stay, mainly peaceful. There were critters in the night making noise but to be expected at the edge of forest. Comfortable furniture and nice amenities. I had forgotten my Bible so I appreciated they had one available. I t was also close to places we wanted to go. Check in and out was very easy. Nice place.

Great place!

Last minute get away with my daughter. I was lucky that this place was available as I stayed here last year and enjoyed it also. It’s comfortable and cozy. Perfect for what we needed. Only 1 mile to go fishing at Roaring River.

Great place

Only issue we had at all was on check in and throughout stay there were large black ants on kitchen counters, island and dining area. Nothing that would cause us not to stay again. Plenty of room, comfortable and clean! We loved our stay! Thank you

Hi Carol, we're so sorry to hear about the pest issue. Given the wooded setting, we treat the outdoor areas regularly, though it appears another application may now be needed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention—we truly appreciate it, and we're grateful you would consider staying with us again.

Relaxing stay

Property was fine. Outside yard area needs some work and a full size trash can in the kitchen would have helped with clean up

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen could use the following: measuring cups and spoons, a cutting board, a whisk and a good knife set. Also, two rolls of paper towels. I found a used feminine pad “under” the wastebasket in the bathroom and you should consider cleaning “under” the beds. Other than that, it was fine.

Property owner was very congenial. The property was older, but well kept. It was very clean and tucked away for some privacy. Outlets were a bit hard to get to as they were behind the bed in the master suite.

It was perfect for what we needed! The kitchen was stocked . The only thing I wish was different was the check out time . But I knew it when I booked it . It was private and lots of space to have fun. Fun games for the kids supplied. We had a fire every night .

It was okay.

There is a sewage smell surrounding the house, that is unpleasant. There are animals burrowing under the living room and bedroom was unfortunate, keeping us awake.

Hi Rebecca, we want all of our guests to enjoy a restful and comfortable stay, and we’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced. We’ve had the septic system professionally inspected, and the issue has been identified and resolved—thank you for bringing it to our attention. The home does have a basement, which is still undergoing renovation. While we’re not certain what the source of the noise was, we had it checked to ensure everything was in order. We regret any disturbances during your stay and truly appreciate your feedback.

Short stay

The property was a cute cabin near Roaring River. It was rustic and the decor was cute. The floor was quite dusty and dirty and inwould encourage new bed coverings as they were extremely thin and no other blankets could be found. Also invest in some measuring cups and a bread loaf pan for the kitchen. Netflix or Prime tv would be a great ad as there is nothing to watch on the tv. Overall a nice stay. The kids enjoyed the axe throwing and horse shoes.
