Villa Island of the Gods, Bali

This Balinese influenced minimalist villa is located in the central province of Gianyar. This villa was built on this magical location because it sits surrounded by rice fields has cooling ocean breezes and is within walking distance of a typical Balinese village. The villa’s location is additional enhanced by the following; ocean and rice fields views, only a 15 minute walk to a quite beach and the world famous surf beach (Keramas), it is a thirty minute drive to the well known diving and snorkeling area of Blue Lagoon and a quite small cove white sand beach, a twenty minute drive to one of the most famous central cultural and tourist areas known as Ubud, twenty minutes drive to Sanur which is another well know Bali destination and lastly the world famous Bali Marine Safari is only a five minute drive.

Our separate guesthouse (which is included in the rental) has air conditioning, small private garden, private bathroom with shower and a queen size bed. The main house bedroom has a King size bed, a porch, bathtub and out door shower. We do have wireless Internet that can be used free of charge when you have the need to “keep in touch”. There is also cable TV in the living room area.

We have a full time maid who does the cleaning and assist you in other house hold needs. She can help with food shopping and renting motorbikes too. And she can prepare Balinese dishes if you would like. Also we can recommend a trustworthy Balinese driver who can pick you up at the airport and bring you to the villa.

The closest big super market is called “Hardy’s Super Market” located in Gianyar city. This is only 10 minutes drive from the villa. However, there are also a few mini markets closer by which can provide some basic items.

The sense of being away yet being in touch can be enjoyed here. We hope that while you are relaxing by the pool, with cooling ocean breezes, you will be reminded why it is nice to be away from the hustle of the tourist areas and in the calming experience of the magic of Bali.
