Studio apartment In Paihia facing the Russell peninsular. Sleep to the sound of gentle waves lapping the shore below. Footsteps to the beach for safe swimming at high tide. Queen bed, microwave, toaster, kettle, BBQ, fridge. Note: there is no hob or conventional oven. Daybed, outdoor shower. Private parking next to studio for small/medium cars. (utes/boats park on public road) 15 min walk along beach to Paihia centre at low tide. 2 min drive Paihia centre/Russell passenger ferry, 5 minute drive Russell car ferry, 7 mins drive Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

One of our favorite places to stay, ever! The view is gorgeous, and the apartment is perfect...very comfortable. Jane was so nice and helpful, and gave us lots of good advice. Highly recommended!!

Amazing Easter getaway - unfortunate stormy weather

Fantastic place to stay

Very nice accommodation, all very new and pristine. Fantastic water views, beach access, can walk 2 mins and have a swim or walk along the beach. Nice quiet location. Excellent hosts, so helpful and friendly. Lots to do in the area. Would thoroughly recommend.

Paihia 3 night stay

We had a great time here. The place was extremely clean. The view from the day bed was unparalleled and access to the private beach was a huge plus at it cut the walking time to town in half versus walking down the road. Highly recommend.

The owners were amazing! There was a power cut in town so I couldn’t get any food. All businesses were shut. Jane cooked some pasta for me and made sure I had a camping stove, torches and candles and anything I needed. I was so grateful. The property is amazing! Clean, tidy and all the amenities you could want. So much attention to detail down to phone charging points and lights that switch on when you walk in the door. The view was amazing and easy access to the beach too. Highly recommend.

A special place

We loved staying at Waimiro. It’s far from the busy street yet close enough to walk. The view is a constant at delight - across the sea to other islands. Very comfortable and the hosts were most helpful. But the unit is small - with a kitchenette … in winter if it’s raining be aware that you will have limited space..- the setting makes up for much!

Fantastic Accomodation

Fantastic accommodation, location and owners. Everything we could need and such a helpful property manager. Jane’s husband David even offered to drive us into Paihia for the early morning foot ferry to Russell. Highly recommended.

Idyllic

A delightful place to stay. Very clean and restful with lovely views and short easy walk to the beach. The large deck provides great outdoor living space. Even though it is a unit attached to the main house, it is private and quiet. Owners are friendly and helpful if anything is needed.

Excellent Experience

My husband and I had an excellent time at this property. The unit had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, with a lovely deck, a beautiful view of the ocean and access to the beach. The hosts are friendly and generous people, doing whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend. lovely

Could not have been easier to deal with. Very helpful hosts. Incredibly comfortable bed, great view with walkway to the water in a very cute town with everything you could need. Very impressed.

Amazing

Everything was perfect. I wouldnt even bother with a motel next time i go up north. Hosts were amazing and super accomodating. Apartment was clean. Bed was comfy, outdoor setting and view of the harbour were 💯💯. We will be back for sure

Gorgeous beachfront property!

This was my first stop on a whirlwind tour of New Zealand in celebration of my 60th birthday and it could not have been more perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful with an unbelievable view of both the ocean and the night sky. It is very well maintained, sparklingly clean, and Jane was a very thoughtful and available host who made the extra effort to inquire as to what type of milk we preferred so she could leave a bottle in the fridge. She also left a lovely bottle of champagne for us to celebrate with! The front porch is even more beautiful in person than it shows in the pics online, with a double day bed to lounge in while looking at the ocean or the night sky. Absolutely perfect all the way around!

A great little gem in Paihia

Jane and Dave were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to go out of their way to make our stay great - and a bonus they have a gorgeous little dog! It’s really close to town,has everything you need and has a wonderful view. We really loved the quality of the bed linen, great touch :). The only minor negatives- 1. The deck catches the afternoon wind, which meant we weren’t able to sit out there like we’d have liked too. 2. It’s well furnished but it does make the room a little cramped - but moving bits out of the way helped with that :) Would definitely stay again!

No matter what photo we take - we cannot do justice to the stunning view across the water to Russell as many who stay with us attest to. The Bay of Islands is very laid back - life moves at a slower pace here and there is a community feeling and friendliness that we love.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We have a truly beachfront unit with no road, no property, between us and the beach. A small footpath leads onto the beach with safe swimming. Relaxing on the daybed and watching the yachts and boats go by as well as occasional dolphins is a true joy.
