Great family weekend at the great home!!!

Wonderful home in a perfect location. Close to everything so you can't go wrong staying here. We will be back.

Our family gathering at Winterpark was enjoyable and exciting.

All of our expectations were met with the exception of the guest bathrooms; they were inadequate. Most of the adults ended up using the master bathroom for showering.

Great amount of space and great location. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of extra blankets. The hot tub and back yard were great as well. Its an older home so it is lived in and tons of light switches to figure out. I wish there were more tv's. Only one in the living room and one in the game room. Couldnt get the tv in the master to work. Only one working pool stick and broken pocket on the pool table. No propane in the fire pit table and the bbq had some rust on the grates. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The overall is good, but more cleaning and manteinance is welcome.

In the overall the property is nice, good and well located. But needs more general cleaning and manteinance (for the money paid which was similar to a hotel accomodation, but withouth the hotel ammenities). Despite the above, we didn't have any issues and enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious

My family of 11 stayed here and we loved how much room we had. It was a beautiful place with plenty of dishes and towels for each one of us. The teens loved the game room and basketball hoop. The only thing negative was there was way to many chemicals in the jacuzzi. We tried it the first night and everyone got out because they started itching and a slight burning feeling. We tried it again a few days later and it still caused itching. Overall it was a great experience. Close to the village and lake.

A great location for a large group!

We really enjoyed our stay at Winterpark. The house is amazing, large, open and plenty of bedrooms. It checked most of the boxes we wanted for space and accommodations. The downside of this location is that although it had a backyard, it was all dirt! The microwave was broken so they had a small wattage one in its place that took forever to work. The fridge in the game room was broken and could not be used. One major disappointment was that the kitchen is not well stocked. The coffee cups they had were really small and they didn’t even have a wine opener. Next time I will bring more kitchen cookware and accessories.

The property has a lot of clogged bathrooms and kitchen problems. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay

Amazing Place

This is one of the best properties I have stayed at on a vacation. The house is designed so that there is separation between kids and adults if you have a big group or family. My kids loved the game room and hot tub as well. Very convenient to the lake and The Village, as well as the ski slopes (though we stayed in summer). Very highly recommended!

Great place but needs some updating and maintenance

This property was great for our group. The check-in/check-out process was easy. This property is close to the Vons shopping center and Snow Summit, and a short 10 minute drive to the center of town. The great room/kitchen/dining area was a beautiful and spacious place for us to all gather together and the house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The backyard is private and large and a great place to BBQ, play games and relax. The youth in our group enjoyed the game room with pool and foosball. I would have given this property a five-star rating except for the following: The dishwasher did not work; the oven worked but not well; the coffee maker didn't work; and the carpets throughout are stained and disgusting and in need of replacement. I would rent this property again and highly recommend it to others if the appliances and carpet are replaced. Despite the shortcomings of this property, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home and our time in Big Bear.

Big and pretty but very antiquated appliances.

This was a family trip so the home was perfect for a family to hang out in a large room. VERY well cleaned. Gorgeous great room with huge sofa and plenty of space. BUT - the heater, dishwasher, oven and appliances were WAY out of date. Oven didn't work properly the dishwasher didn't open all the way and the heat was impossible to figure out. Good stuff for cooking. Not enough coffee cups. The backyard could have been incredible to sit in but was all dirt. BUT, if you are looking for a huge, gorgeous house to hang with a large group, this is a good choice. Just be prepared to stay in an older home. In the end, we all had a terrific time.
