Riverview - Breath taking views of the Hopkins River

Riverview in Warrnambool perches high above the Hopkins River giving elevated views up and down the river as well as over Warrnambool itself. This 4 bedroom home provides a unique and warm home for your next stay.

Park in your own private garage (situated on the right as you view the house) and enter into an oasis. This lovingly cared for garden with its cobbled stones and leafy trees will surround you, letting you leave the world behind.

Step inside and head left up the stairs to the master bedroom with ensuite with a large walk in shower. This spacious room comes with a Queen bed, split system and large walk in robe. You can enjoy the morning sunshine and expansive river and ocean views from your own private decking for two.

Right off the entrance hall is the laundry space with both washer and dryer facilities for your use and the outdoor drying rack can be found on the front decking to the left of the front door. There is a separate toilet /powder room next to the laundry.

The first bedroom come with 2 singles, built in robes and ceiling fan. There is also a collection of kids games and activities, you are welcome to enjoy these, please return them in the same condition at the end of your stay.

Next door is the main bathroom with large corner spa bath and separate walk in shower. At the end of the hallway is a Queen room with built in robes and overhead ceiling fan. This room also has access to the outdoor decking and views over the Hopkins river.

Heading down from the entrance hall takes you to the centre of the house, turn right into the galley kitchen and open plan dining space. The kitchen is stocked with all the expected mod cons. Off the kitchen you can enjoy the delightful sunroom, high glass ceilings and full length windows that allow in the natural light and lead onto the decking. In winter curl up with a good book and glass of wine. In the summer enjoy a cocktail on the deck over the river as the sunsets.

From the kitchen and dining room there are a small set of stairs down into the living space. Here there is a large screen TV, relaxed sofas and 2 viewing chairs perfectly positioned. The living space is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows allowing you to enjoy the spectacular river views this home takes its name for.

The final bedroom can be found off the living space, ideal for grandparents or anyone who needs a little space of their own while staying. Head downstairs to this home within a home. Here you will find a large open plan space with a living room, small kitchenette with second fridge and 4 seater round table. From the living space step into the bed space with double bed, built in robes and decadent ensuite. The ensuite contains a corner spa bath and separate shower, double vanity and toilet.

From the living space step out onto the large wrap around decking with outdoor dining. This area is perfect for your family BBQ in the evening, the fridge just a few steps away to make sure your drinks stay cold!

There is plenty to do while staying at Riverview. Bring your bikes and ride along the Flume beach bike track to Lake Pertobe and have lunch at the kiosk café. This large multi area playground will have something for everyone! You can walk along the river front to the beach and the river provides a calm water space for kids to swim

Warrnambool's Whale watching is only 1.4km up the road, another nice bike ride and a Great place for a view and then run down the steps to the ocean.

If fishing is your thing, there are plenty of places to fish off the Hopkins River bridge and then you can always buy fish and chips for dinner or partake in one of the many great restaurants just down the road. Check out Proudfoots on the river, which you can even see from Riverview!

For small and big kids alike, watch the trains from the dining table – the arrival of the night train is especially magical and there’s a timetable near the window for your trainspotting pleasure!
