Charmingly Country, Quiet, with POOL, yet 30 Minutes from Lake Area

The Country Haven Lodge is a great choice for those looking for a quiet more private place to vacation. If your get-a-way means getting away from the crowds and getting back to nature and yourself, come stay and enjoy the comfortable, quiet surroundings! The lodge is next door to our home but still quiet as we don't bother you. We are only about 30 minutes from the lake and all of it's offerings. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is about 15 minutes away as well as many other attractions. Enjoy the busy things in the area then come back to the quite to grill your supper or just sit and look out at the Ozark hills and relax.
We have a 15X30 above ground pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, for our guests enjoyment! (Approx. 4' deep throughout.) It's 12X20 deck is connected to the back porch for privacy and convenience. So, swim or sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful view while relaxing with loved ones!
The lodge is set on our working farm that has cattle and chickens. You might get to see some cows and baby calves and hear a rooster crow!

1200 Square feet on two floors.

Two bedrooms upstairs with king beds.

The lodge kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware. The frig has an ice maker and there is a dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave, toaster and coffee maker. All you will need to bring is the food! There is also a gas BQ grill if you would like to use that.

42' TV with Roku and a DVD player.

Great cell phone reception.

Sorry no pets allowed and no smoking in the lodge. There will be lawn mowing part of the time as the property does have to be maintained for your comfort and enjoyment!

We limit our guests, including anyone you might invite for an evening, to 6 guests including children and babies. No extra invited guests without prior consent of the property owners.

We had an amazing stay and would recommend this VRBO to everyone! We have 4 kids and all fit perfectly. The cabin was so clean and the hospitality was the best we have ever had at a vrbo. We enjoyed the pool but also loved walking to see the cows and sitting on the deck watching the amazing views. We would love to come back again someday! Absolutely amazing vacation!

This was our first Vrbo and we loved it! We have already discussed coming back next year. Shelia was very helpful and so kind. The weather wasn’t in our favor but we did squeeze in a dip in the pool before leaving. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed, just like home. The doggo and kitty were the icing on the cake. Beautiful views.

We had an excellent stay and hope to stay again. Sheila greeted us with a fresh loaf of wonderful bread. She walked us through the property and pool area and told us to text or come and knock on door if we needed anything. We were kept company by the dog Pepper and cat Snooks which was a nice experience. The views from covered porch and pool were wonderful and relaxing. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. Definitely hope another stay there can be arranged.

This place is a gem. Very clean and comfortable. The host is there to help you with anything you need. It is stocked full of all the little things. The view is amazing. My daughter played with the dog (pepper) and cat that roam the grounds. Very clean and well behaved animals. The pool is perfect to relax in. Also very clean and well maintained.

We have been coming here for many years. The owner has provided a clean, relaxing and a beautiful farm with views. The pool is an added bonus. Our host always has a wonderful loaf of fresh bread she has made and a stick of butter.How is that for a royal treatment? The linens smell like they have been freshly steamed and the breeze from the ceiling fans in the bedroom make for sweet dreams.I love taking time to visit with Sheila and we are always greeted by the cutest dog in the world. Dreams are made from the people you meet along the way. Thank you Sheila.

An Absolutely Wonderful Stay!We had an amazing stay and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The property was absolutely pristine, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and cozy blankets, making it easy to feel right at home.The pool was amazing and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the property. Everything was so well cared for, and it was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.Our hosts were kind, friendly, and incredibly communicative throughout our stay. And the fresh-baked loaf of bread waiting for us was such a thoughtful and delicious touch! 🥖And then there’s Pepper, the sweetest little puppy! He was absolutely adorable and definitely added an extra bit of joy to our stay. We loved every minute of our time here and would absolutely stay again. In fact, we’re already looking forward to coming back! If you’re considering booking this property, don’t hesitate — you won’t be disappointed.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience and time staying here! The views were amazing! We felt right at home from the time we checked in! The crash eggs and homemade bread were so thoughtful and amazing! Everything about our stay was worth the drive out into the countryside!

This house was absolutely beautiful. Completely immaculate on the inside and out. The fresh bread and eggs were a great treat. The views were amazing to enjoy a sunrise cup of coffee. And of course, the star of the property, Pepper (the dog) was loved by all.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere. The puppy Pepper was so cute and always greeted us when we were outside. Was disappointed that the pool had been shut down for the winter without notice. The beds were so comfortable. The view was so beautiful.

Perfect for a quiet family getaway!

This was our second stay and it was just as beautiful, fun and peaceful as the first time. The house is gorgeous and the wrap around deck is the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The pool is just what you need to cool off and play with family. We’ll be back for sure!

Wonderful getaway

Did a weekend getaway with the family and absolutely loved this location. The owners are very friendly and helpful and their property was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. We love the pool. It was perfect and had a nice relaxing weekend.
