The sofa was too small to be comfortable to sit on. The bed had (pee) stains on it and was almost as uncomfortable as the sofa.

Clean, comfortable and convenient … what more could you ask for. The host was always available and kind. Great place to stay in a lovely neighborhood.

The morning we were arriving, we received a notice to complete a background check, which we hadn't delved enough to realize was required and were uncomfortable with. We couldn't make the app work from our hotel on the way to the destination. The host didn't respond to messages about it not working and asking to complete the process in person when we arrived. They only repeated the note that we needed to fill out the background request. When we arrived, we had no way to get in. The building manager who answered the phone at the entry, was very kind, but couldn't get a hold of the host either. Finally, I was able to make the app work while we waited to get in, which ended up taking an extra hour. The building carpets on the way to the unit were stained and unpleasant. There were no keys in the box as explained in the entry instructions, but we were able to use a code to open the door. Inside, there was a coffee set up, but not enough coffee to make any. There were no table and chairs to sit at, only a very uncomfortable couch. My husband called it a step above a college dorm. We thought the price was excessive and the whole experience was challenging.

Location was great in relation to the University and Special Olympics events we attended. Having a parking spot was nice but the fob only worked for the front door, not to get in to the building from the garage. The host said we did not have access and had to walk around. My sister rented a unit from the same host and her fob worked for access from the garage, so that did not make sense to me.The BBQ does not work, we reached out to host and they never got back to us. Limited cookware, skillets were very dirty, I was able to scrub one down and use that the entire time. I was hoping to cook more verses eat out but it was too much hassle. I’m pregnant and my husband had hip surgery so the couch in the living area was terribly uncomfortable. And it was very low to the ground. Barely able to spend anytime in the living area which means most our time was in the bedroom with no TV so we used our laptop. AC was nice and ceiling fan.The shower drain was extremely backed up , very gross the first day. We ended up buying Draino and a shower mat and shower cleaner while we stayed to make it work.Not many towels had to wash those daily.The worst part was the smell in the lobby and hallways from the trash room, not the hosts fault but I’m really sensitive to smells and made me sick everytime we had to leave and come back.The 3 stars is for location and AC. The host was barely reachable.
