It was a very nice home!. Everything felt just like home and we loved it. Everything was even really comfortable and we slept amazing at night and enjoyed the kitchen for breakfast and the living room to have a great relaxing evening with family. We will definitely be back.

I would prefer to speak directly with the host but I couldn’t even get an email with check-in information. I had to call an automated number since I can only message AI with “Evolve.” Luckily it gave us the code for the door (this was an hour after our check-in time and I still hadn’t received any information). The house needs some work. There are roaches, so it was a jump scare opening the kitchen drawers to grab a utensil to try and cook and a roach climbs over the silverware. That is unacceptable to me. Every single thing we used that was “clean” in the cabinets had to be washed because 1. They were dirty and 2. There are freaking bugs crawling all through it. The couch was torn and the pullout bed was full of food and wrappers from previous guests. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and the second bedroom had the smallest double bed I’ve ever seen. More like a glorified twin bed.The air is controlled remotely. Idk if they stay in Texas themselves, but it’s pretty hot down there. My husband would turn the air to 68 and an hour later they had reset it to 74. He’d be up and down throughout the night because of how warm it was just to play a back and forth game of changing the air settings with the host so we could be comfortable. Kind of insane since we were paying a large sum to stay there for a couple days. Honestly, I would have spent less to stay at a clean hotel and wouldn’t have had the scare of bringing roaches home. Many regrets this week.

The property was treated for pests only a few weeks prior, so we're addressing this concern with our pest control provider to ensure it doesn't happen again. We are also aware of a detached couch cushion and are working on a replacement, and we'll be following up with our cleaning crew about the pullout bed not being properly cleaned before your arrival. Regarding check-in information, we recognize that our contact details were not included in the correspondence you received, and we're correcting that so future guests have direct access to reach us. We appreciate you bringing these things to our attention so we can make improvements for future stays.

House was in a great location for why we were there. It was a quite neighborhood and very close to the beach and grocery store. House was mostly clean and was in good condition, just needs a little extra cleaning in certain areas. (Around a/c vents was pretty dirty) If only staying one night it would have been okay but staying 4 nights wasn't ideal. There are some areas that need improvement and if you rent you should be prepared to make adjustments.Ceiling fan in the bedroom off the kitchen made so much noise from the motor that you had to turn it off to be able to sleep. The fan in the front bedroom shook violently unless on low, so if like me you need a fan to sleep, bring a portable one.Most of the pillows were really thin or else felt like they had been stuffed with cotton balls, so recommend you bring your own. The beds apparently are older frames because every time we turned over, they creaked. Reminded me of being at Grandma's house.The kitchen lacked some basic need items like a working can opener, which someone who stayed there in September commented about & still not a working one. Son sliced his finger open trying to get it to open the can. Need to have some non-stick skillets or else a stainless-steel scrubber because the scotch-brite ones don't do the job. Also, no baking sheet to use to bake biscuits or pizza.

I’ll be staying at the home at the end of the month and plan to replace some pillows, add cookware and a new can opener, and address the ceiling fans. Guest feedback like this is helpful as I continue working to make the home more comfortable for future stays.

Place was kind of terrible. I cried the first night we had to stay there. Big water roaches would invade the kitchen at night and little roaches were all in the showers and bedrooms. Ants would get all over any type of food you left on any counters. Owner just told me that there was bug spray under the sink. Blood on one of the blankets in one of the rooms. And floors were disgusting. Made your feet black if you walked bare foot. All air vents were covered in mold. And I even had to clean the refrigerator when we first got there because there was dead roaches in it. Place could be really nice if it was taken care of. One of the showers didn't even work. My husband had to go buy stuff to fix it so we could use. We actually had to spend more money to stay here comfortably. Which was a huge bummer.

House was clean upon arrival. Host responsed quickly to problems with the AC unit. Ran into a few minor problems with some ants after the tropical storm came through. Living room tv barely worked. Overall stay was 8/10.
