Great Stay at Chipper Inn

Chipper Inn is a well appointed 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. It had great public areas allowing our Grandkids the space to chill out after busy days in the Dells. We made use of the fire pit, community pool, and the restaurant. All got high marks. If our travels take us back this way again, we would stay there without hesitation.

First off we were not at the Chipper Inn, we were at Prairie Dust. Two comments, I wish there were more kitchen towels, I know we were only there 3 days but all other VRBO's that I have stayed at have had at least a drawer full. No detergent for washing if we had wanted to, again always had that at other VRBO's. Only had 2 dishwashing pods this would of been a problem if we had cooked in the home, we ate some meals out.In sleeping downstairs, there is a noise (mechanical) that goes for less than a minute, shuts off for a few minutes and turns back on. Very annoying if sleeping downstairs, it sounds like metal clanging. We tried shutting off the heating/cooling system but it didn't help.Otherwise the home was clean, decorated nicely, had pretty much everything you needed for your stay. The amount of kitchen equipment was amazing but we did not cook there so we did not get to use much.Thank you!

Thank you for staying at Prairie Dust and for taking the time to leave us some feedback! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the home and thought it was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. We did want to mention that our digital guestbook notes that laundry soap isn’t provided, so guests have a heads-up when preparing for their stay. It also lets guests know that if they need additional dishwashing pods along with other items, they can simply reach out to our Lodging Office and we’re happy to have more delivered. We’re sorry you experienced the mechanical noise downstairs, though, and completely understand how that could be frustrating when you’re trying to sleep. We’ll take a closer look at that. We really appreciate you letting us know about your experience and hope you had a great time at Prairie Dust overall!
